I'm wordy. I love words. I use them all the time and in great quantities. Not that I'm in love with my voice, but I like using words. Words help to define and shape the world around us. Words help to form our cultures. Words can express our humanity. But words can damage too. Words can all but kill. They can certainly be used to hate.
I think, as a society, that we have forgotten just how important words can truely be. Words such as love, peace, harmony. Instead we focus on words such as war, terror, and race.
George Carlin once had a comedy skit called the "7 Words You Can't Say On Television". In it he ponders what would happen if we replaced the word kill with fake. I would challenge everyone that reads this particular post to try it.
Is this wordy enough?
Can I get a treat now?

That should make jamming the pool cue where it should go, even more fun *giggles*

I'm not.
Wordy. That is.
PS ~ See?
Only 7 words, the post.
5 if you don't count the Dear Litster part.
Which we won't.
Cos it's not part of my post and shouldn't count towards my word count.
And while we're on it, what's wrong with being wordy anyway, which I'm not, I was saying a lot because I had a lot to say, not because I was using lots of words to say what I wanted to say, which was a lot, cos you had given me lots with which to react to and how do you react without using words exactly, so i guess you could say I'm wordy in the way that I use words to word things, but not wordy in the way that i use many a word to word out what I want to say in words.
So, yeah.
Totally not.
Wordy, that is.

That I were there to hold your hand, make you a cup of tea, and generally make it known that you have the support you need to get through this difficult time. I'm glad you will not be alone today...that is a very good man you raised (how could he not be with you as a mom).
There are so many of us who love you, though we may not talk, but know that each and everyone of us (and I hope they do not mind me speaking for them) are sending you warm and fuzzy thoughts to carry you through this day and all the tomorrows you shall face.
I love you, my litsister, and darn you...you best believe I will come out there and spank you if you don't get better. We have many years of comparing our guys and their many...ahem...faults, foibles, and general silly behaviors.
Your friend, comrade in arms, and adoring fan![]()
