Since I've been around this place for 10+ years I'm guessing I qualify as an oldie and i've been having a great time since I've been back. Tickled to see Sassy has a bestie taking good care of her!!

Are you sure all that you hear is complaining? And not some wistful reminiscing of the spontaneous free flowing playful interactions that would encompass any number of threads? I don't see that today. Actually I haven't seen that for a while.

And not all of us are still hanging around. The greater majority of PG'ers who made the Playground so playful are gone. Have been for a long time. What I see today is folks limiting themselves to one or two threads, or one or two types of threads. What I'm not seeing is that spontaneous playful interactions that attracted me. I also don't remember seeing so many self contained threads.

So I say it's up to you Newbishers to bring back the Playgrounds sparkle.

Personally, I think Tallulah would have fit in quite well back then.

At one point I remember the issue of cock blocking reared it's misshapen head, but it never turned into the type of sword dicking that went on recently.

Dear Listers Old and New,

I can't say I an old school Lister, but I am definitely not a new one. I think many of the long time Listers wish it to be like it used to be, but everything is more exciting at the beginning. You develop relationships and see people close to you leave. You have seen alts and are skeptical of new comers, which prevents you from opening up to new Listers. Most people stick to the people who they are comfortable, they don't branch out and give others a chance. I am having more fun on LIT now, than I ever have and I think it's all about outlook. To someone new coming to Lit it's exciting, they're getting to know new people and explore. If you have explored the land for years, it's not as exciting as taking your first step into a new world. Everybody should reach out to someone new with different views and have a conversation, I bet it will be more exciting.
