Dear Rob (and everyone else),

Sounds reasonable. Done.

Happy Holidays. :rose:

Dear Laurel.

It has been much fun getting to know you over the past 6 months or so.

You're a lovely woman. I enjoy our conversations.

Merry Christmas Kitty Mama. I loves ya. Lots. xx

P.S. I'm really glad you decided to stay on with us at the GB.

Dear

Yep. At least 16 more months or pay the fine. And it's not a monetary one. :JAJ:

Love,

Dear Wings,

I hope the mentioning of poop and ear muffs in the same paragraph was coincidental and not related, because I don't think it would make attractive ear muffs. Otherwise, dance till your thighs burn like fire!! :rose:

Love,

Dear Johnny,

I usually don't think of baseball in those moments, but whatever turns you on.

Dear islandman,

I moved it to the Spam box, with all the other spam.

Conspiracy discussions are cool. Adverts for books, etc. - not so much.

Love,

Laurel

Dear smiley,

Back atcha. Hope you're having a nice warm winter down under. :rose:

Dear Laurel,

I have noted a dearth of spam on here on late.

Kudos to you and the hamsters on the wheel.

Also, new pics of you would be nice. The old ones are getting.....stale.

Hugs and kisses,

islandman

Dear Laurel,

Today I'm baking all day. It's snowing outside and I have the rest of the week off of work. Well, actually, the next 2 weeks off of work. Doesn't get much better than this. Come visit me!

Love,
Mona

Dear Laurel,

Every so often, please sneak some of mona's baked goods into USPS package and send it to me.

Many thanks.

Dear neci,

It's some sort of daily glitch that happens when some daily server process kicks in. It's annoying, isn't it?

Love,

Laurel

Dear Laurel,

It's time to change the copyright year again.

Thanks!

Dear Laurelle

Why are there so many tumblr sites seemingly devoted to SS officers looking cute with kittens and baby deers?

It vexes me.

Yours

Mouldy Brisket

Dear Naughtius and Everyone,

Happy 2014!

Make it count!

Love,

Laurel

*

Dear phrodeau,

I'll pass that along.

E-banking is neat and convenient, but I sort of miss writing the wrong year on checks for three months.

Love,

Laurel

Dear Fata Mouldy,

Because you follow strange people on Tumblr?

Love,

Laurel

Dear Laurel,

The GB needs a sticky with the following threads:

Chat is down but you can hang out here and bitch about it, thread.

Old timer returning to bitch about how glorious the GB used to be and how lame it's become, thread.

People whining about how weird/rude/mean posters in the GB are, thread.

G'day.

Psst- You'll need to create the other two threads like you did the first one and insert links.

Dear Laurel,

So glad you were finally motivated enough to create the Chat sticky. Don't stop now.

Thank you.
:)

Dear Laurel,

Why is it that I tend to receive lots of spam emails whenever I visit Lit?

It's sort of annoying because the first thing I have to do when I leave is go to my mailbox and clean out the spam filter.

Is there a possible way for spamsters to know when I'm here?

Dear trysail,

I can't think of any. We don't share our mailing list with anyone - and even if we did, I don't see how knowing someone's email address would allow them to also know your Internet whereabouts in real time. I don't even know how that would work.

Maybe you and spammers keep similar hours?

Love,

Laurel

Though important, I'd rather L&M figure out the "this website is down. please check back in a little while" message that nowadays appears at a greater frequency.

After that, global warming/cooling/change, followed by global income inequality, a cure for the common cold and, finally, your spam issue.

PS - spam folders clean themselves out based on what the user has indicated in the mail system's settings.

My Dearest Laurel,

Is there a way that moderators of other boards can enjoy immunity from iggy only on the boards they moderate? It seems unfair to the rest of the Literotica (well, me actually) to have to see their nonsense on the GB, when they don't moderate here.

There should be no immunity on the GB. Post on the GB and you are fair game!

With Affection,

Johnny.

(n.b., I chose not to bring up this mod's stupid username, cliche av, or allegations of his sexual deviance because I wanted to concentrate on the fact that he's an idiot and I should be able to ignore him based solely on the quality of his posts and not the content of his character.)

Dear Laurel,

Thank you. This is very reassuring.

While I'm at it, I will take the opportunity to also thank you for the very light-handed (and essentially non-existent) moderation on the GeeBee.

I occasionally place comments on websites that are moderated and all-too-frequently am infuriated to subsequently discover that some politically motivated/correct, good-for-nothing, high-handed censor has arbitrarily deleted my laboriously composed and carefully chosen words. Only the distance and anonymity of the Interwebz prevents my facing charges of manslaughter. To add insult to injury, said miscreants are thus directly responsible for elevating my blood pressure. By contrast, the knowledge that such censorship is unlikely to result in such a disagreeable outcome makes visiting Lit a pleasure.

With admiration, appreciation, affection and :rose: :rose: :rose:,
Trysail

Dear Laurel,

Because you and I are such good friends, the  asked me to ask you if you would let him post in the sticky. Just once is all he wants; and while I would never advocate for special treatment for any litster, you have to agree with me that  is, in fact, kinda special.

Your pal,

Johnny
