Dear Canada,
We've never really met. My name is Jeff and I live in Ky. I have a huge favor to ask of you.
I'm a really big football fan. (The kind that is played on a 100 yard field) I recently scored tickets to the U. of Kentucky/U. of Louisville football game scheduled for Labor day weekend. This is a really big rivalry game, and I'm really looking forward to going.
What I'm asking from our neighbors to the North is for you to push a really big Canadian cold front down into our neck of the woods on Sat. Sep. 2nd. The game is scheduled for the 3rd at 3:30 in the afternoon. Our weather has been miserably hot all summer. I have quietly endured living 3 feet from the gates of hell all summer, but now I'm seeking a little relief.
There's nothing I would like more than to be at the game with a kickoff temp somewhere in the mid 70's, low humidity, a gentle breeze from the north, and bright blue skies. Then sitting back in said comfort and watch my Cardinals beat the hell out of UK on their home field.
Any help Canada could provide in this weather request would be greatly appreciated.
