Hi all ~

As i research, wander, and post in the forums I find that the date and time stamp that I see must be in GMT for me. Is there a way/place I can change this to match my time zone? (TYIA)

Hmm... as most browsers get the time zone settings from your computer you might want to look to see if you have you time zone set correctly.

My mistake... in your Author profile under options there is a place to set your time zone. Click on Stories and Pictures. In the upper right hand corner you will see an image with an up arrow beside it. Click the up arrow and then click on Options. Your profile will be displayed. Click on the My Options tab. You will find the time zone setting there.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

However did you find it? I have been looking for the setting since I became a member almost a month ago. (I've also scoured the How To forum, and finally succumbed to asking in this post.)

I wish I could hit the "Like" button a hundred times. (I mean, ok, I can - but it just turns the "Like" off and on and doesn't get me the desired effect.)

And ... I liked the Albatross staring back at me. (I snuck a peek at your bio 😋.)

And interestingly - my first story I published (well, only to date) has a character named Carter lol.)

Once again, many, many thanks. You are my hero.

You are welcome.

You are welcome.
By the way, I clicked on your non-fiction link. You have a LOT! The two that caught my eye were the time traveling ones ... Time and Again, and Rerun. (I'm in the midst of writing a series in Lit ... and it has an essence of time travel.)

I have since put those stories up here at Lit, just click My Stuff at Lit link. The titles are the same. The first of the time travel stories is Aftermath, the protag doesn't really travel in time by he communicates mentally with his future self. That is the start of the John Abernathy series. There is a note at the beginning telling you which one to read next. There is one that falls outside the grouped stories... Winds of Change.

I did fix your post also.;)

1 - thanks for the correction in my post. At least the one in your reply message. (Is there a way I can edit a post if I make an error? I saw an "edit" drop down once ... but it doesn't appear for me all the time. Hmmm ... I will.look again.)

2 - And I will most certainly take a look at those stories. 🙂

3 - I found the edit tool! I just used it to add this #3 item lol
