was a fantastic series about WWII. I'd love to watch is in a cinema, even though six hours is a killer.

If you're talking about the movie with Jürgen Prochnow then yeah.

It's a classic,unfortunately the same team made a movie called Stalingrad that is good but lacking in intensity somehow.Still a good movie.

I only wish they'd show Das Boot in the cinemas.

It is based on the experiences of Lothar Günther Bucheim that wrote a book on his experiences also named Das Boot.

A very good horror movie in my opinion.
