Valdimer Elsworth

"Very good my lady.....and your condition is perfectly acepttable to me...though to this ruffian here, I'm not so sure...." Val said, giving a wink and smile to Thorne. Valdimer turned his attention to Cervantes and his newist playmate. Rolling his eyes, and shaking his head, Valdimer turned his attention back to Thorne....

"As my companion said, we leave in the morning. First light if at all possible. I would like to get as early a start as we can." Valdimer said, motioning for a barmaid that wasnt busy.........

Cervantes:

"Mmm, very nice..." Cervantes commented as he held the maid across his lap, he caressed her breast as though to feel of its fullness. Then his other slid down the flat of her stomach and began to bunch up the fabric of her dress, pulling it up away from her legs. He leaned his mouth down toward her neck, his lips parted, taking in a deep breath of her scent as he looked up toward Valdimer with a knowing smirk. A moment later he let her dress fall back into place and sat back, letting her back to her feet. "Secure me a room dear maiden..." He said calmly as he stared Val down. He lifted another pouch of gold up between he and the maid. Then promptly let it fall into the soft enclave between the woman's pursed breasts. "I shall be to attend you shortly..."

Finally, a barmaid came. Val ordered himself another shot of Blue lightning, and a mug of ale. Upon waiting the return of the barmaid, Valdimer couldnt help but notice the event taking place right next to him. Hearing a gasp, he turned to see that the barmaid had returned with his drinks. "Dont mind him, this is normal." he said, with as straight a face as a priest. Taking his drinks and paying the barmaid he turned to see Cervantes staring at him. "Dont stare at me like that. You look like we just broke up or something......Go play with your toy." Val said, giving a hearty bellow of laughter as he attempted to drink his ale......

Cervantes:

"Aye, tis about that time..." Cervantes said as he rose from his seat, once more his hands planted on the table, leaning forward, toward Thorne. "On the morrow we will be set to leave..." He looked toward Val. "Well... Some of us that is..." He sniffed with a smirk as he looked up to see the maid sauntering her merry way up stairs. He followed after, fiddling with the hem of her dress when he caught up to her.

Thorne:

Sighing quietly to herself, Thorne put her book away, finished with the spell, and determined to be well rested for tomorrow. She wanted her full wits around her with these two, even though she suspected her first working might be a brew of herbs to help them both over hangovers. She slipped the book into the black journey sack that had been hidden under her cloak's drape. "In the morning then. As for 'dear lady,' I am known as Thorne, and I am dear to nobody." With those words she gathered her cloak around her and slipped up stairs, moving swiftly past the maid and Cervantes, ignoring them as best she could until she reached her room. Thorne sighed as she took one last look at the common room, wondering what she'd gotten herself into as she slipped into the sleeping room and locked the door behind her.

Cervantes:

The night was long for Lissa as Cervantes seemed endless in hes sexually driven hunger. When he'd spent his seed deep inside of her he'd slip down between her legs and gather deep the sweet taste of her sex until he could once more enter her and take his pleasure with her. Before the night was done, and sleep claimed even Cervantes himself, their mingled scents hung heavy in the air. With a saciated smile, Cervantes slept next to Lissa, his arm slung across her stomach as the blankets were pulled haphasardly up across their bodies. Slowly the morning light crept into the room, first touching her face, then his.

Watching as both Cervantes and Thorne left the table, he quietly finished the last of his ale and shot. The night passed slowly for Valdimer. He watched as men spewed thier tales of adventure and lust, and spewed thier drinks and dinner. From time to time, he could here the loud screams and banging of the bed agianst the wall in Cervantes room. Rolling his eyes, he leaned back in his chair.

Valdimer watched as the darkness of night slowly gave way to the early light of day. Pulling his cloak over his head, he toke a step out to the doorway of the bar, and inhaled the fresh, morning air. It would soon be time to move out..........

Thorne:

Up before the sun, Thorne stepped into the common room at the first ray of light, looking pale from the warm sun. Her hair was pulled back into a sever twist, hidden under the hood of her cloak. She settled her bag of magical tools and books on her hip, securing the strap around her shoulder, and slinging the journey sack across her back. She looked around for any signs of the two men she was to travel with, suspecting that they were still abed.

Cervantes:

With a grumbling mumble, Cervantes drew a hand up to sheild his eyes from the morning light. It didn't help much, so he turned over in bed, trying to escape the blasted light that way. But then, he nearly fell out of bed. He lifted his head with a snuffle of annoyance, and looked about. Finally giving in to the call of the morning, Cervantes took to his feet. Without a sound he pulled a simple silvered trinket from a pouch and placed it about Lissa's neck. He gave all his bedded women the same thing... He smiled down upon her as she slept, her full breasts rising and falling with each easy breath. He turned away and collected his things then, and made for the door, buckling his belt and donning his shirt as he did. Across the hall and down but three doors was the magess's room. He clomped over to it and knocked roughly on the solid wood. "Magess! Time to wake. Make yourself ready for the journey... I will be waiting for you down stairs, in the comons room." He called to her through the thick door. He didn't even wait for a responce as he turned to go to the comon's room. There he saw her to already be up. He huffed at this and clomped down the steps. "Magess..." He growled with a nod. "Has my fellow, Val made himself apparent this morning?" He asked as he rubbed the remaining sleep from his eyes and took a seat with a tired grunt.

Val stood at the doorway to the bar, wiating outside, as he watched Thorne make her way downstairs. Her eyes catching his, Val spoke. "Thorne and Cervantes, out this way if you please." he said, a seeming form of darkness, almost like a constant shadow, clinging to him as he turned away and headed for his horse. "Our journey must begin.....at once." he said as he moved.....

Thorne:

Trying to keep a smile of amusement from her lips, Thorne gestured to Valdimer as she looked at Cervantes. "I do believe that would be him now."

She gripped the straps of her bag and walked outside, drawing a breath of the morning air as she pulled the cloak's hood further over her face until not a ray of sun touched it. Slipping her hands into gloves that fitted snuggly around her thin fingers, she looked around. "Did you ride here, or will I need to find stables to take care of my horse on this trip?"

Cervantes:

"We rode..." Cervantes said as he still sat at the table. He slowly pulled himself free of his seat though and followed slowly after the two. He was certainly not a morning person. Even less of a morning person than Val himself, and Val had good reason not to be... They were at the tavern's side stables in a few steps and Cervantes claimed a silk skinned black mare as his own. He pulled himself atop her slowly and leaned forward on her back, looking down with annoyance at the knotted rope that bound her to the railing. "I thought I told that fucking boy not to tie her up!" He barked as he looked about for the bastard who'd not listened to him. He was nowhere to be seen. So with a sigh, Cervantes drew a scimitar and split the rope in the middle. "Lets be off then..." Cervantes said, shooting Val a knowing glance. They were well on their way out of town before anyone noticed the black mare missing... Its owner still snuggly in bed... Wearing Cervantes' necklace about her throat...

Arching an eyebrow, Thorne followed after the two on her Bay, a good horse if a bit too spoiled by good handling. She secured her bags as they rode, careful never to let the full light of the sun touch her skin. She hated bright light, and these two seemed determined to ride into the sun if they could. With a sigh to herself, she gently urged the stallion forward to catch up with them.

Valdimer hopped on his own horse, a slightly armored war horse. Pulling his cloak even further down, and securing it in place, Val gave a nod to Thorne. "Stay close, we'll be moving fast for most of the morning. After a few hours, we can stop and rest." Val cracked the reins and his steed reared up, it's front legs kicking, and it launched off after Cervantes........

Cervantes:

After its initial burst of speed, the horse he'd taken slowed to a canter. Cervantes looked back to see the two quickly approaching on eather side of him. He was surprize that this horse hadn't seemed the slightest bit skittish of him. For that matter, neither did the magess's horse... Val's, well Val's horse could surely tollerate him if it could tollerate Val himself. "Magess, how much do you know of dragons?" Cervantes asked as he looked toward her.

Thorne:

Keeping Talesin, the horse, firmly in rein, she thought carefully of how to word her answer, all the while wondering in a small part of her mind why Tal was being so tense. "I know a great deal of Dragons, the lore of them, spells to deal with them, and I've dealt with one before, along side my mentor. Might I ask if you know any specifics about this Dragon? Also, what exactly this stone that you are looking for does?"

With that she quieted, keeping a rein on the destier in an effort to calm him.

"Cervantes knows more of this dragon than I, and as for the stone? Well, let's just say that it is something that has to be aquired, no matter what." he said to Thorne, turning his horse to ride alongside her's.

His cloak flapping in the wind, a trail of darkness lingered behind Valdimer's path, and also engulfed him as they rode, though on him, it was more of a smokey shadow in apperance......

Cervantes:

"The only things I know for certain about the dragon we are to face is that it is green and mature... And has quite a distaste for Val there... For... Personal reasons to be sure... The stone? Well... That is something Val would have to explain in full. Which I highly doubt he will... He thinks its this big secret or something that he has to hide... I don't know why really... I say, don't hide who you really are... But does he listen??? NO!" Cervantes grumbles over his fellow's secrecy. "One peice of advice... Don't get yourself caught between her and Val if it comes to that..." Cervantes added with a smile as he kept his horse at a pace to match Thorne's own. He was looking at her chest now that he had nothing more to say at the moment. His tongue darted across his lips, even though her figure was more than hidden under her cloak... He was undressing her with his eyes...

The ass breighed loudly, as he sat down in the dirt road. The morning sun was beating down heavily on him, as he looked in his hand.
"I sure hope I did the right thing this time," the matches stared back at him, all lined up. Cervie had been asking for matches hadn't he?
Of was it Magess?
He got so confused when things weren't written down. No, he was certain. What would he want with a magess? Matches were useful for a journey, very useful.
A squirrel came out, looking at him carefully. His eyes lit up as he saw it, quickly he pocketed the matches.
"Well, hey there little friend," he held out his hand, the squirrel jumped up into it. He petted the animal, holding it close to him. He loved animals so, and they seemed to love him just as much.
Oh no...
He heard it, the sound of hoofbeats coming down the road. Yes, today was the day Cervie said he would return for him. Good thing, he had just gotten back here yesterday.
The ass breighed another time.
"Yes, yes, I hear you. Later though, Cervie's coming."
He put the squirrel on his should, getting up. Dusting his britches off, Rocky looked at the path. Far away, he could just see the cloud dust arising from the impending horses.
Three?
He thought two at the most, but three? Another person coming along with their journey.
Breathing out of his mouth, which he usually did when he got excited, Rocky began waving franticallly.
"CERVIE!!! I'm here, and I got what you wanted. Look, you asked or matches, and here they are."
He showed them to the travelling group, beaming, as if he held solid gold in his hands.

Cervantes:

With a quiet huff of exasperation, Cervantes pulled away from the others and approached Rocky. By the time he reached the young cabin boy, Cervantes was smiling. "Thank you young lad..." He said as he took the matches in his hand. He looked back, toward the others, then down toward Rocky again. "They will come in handy when we light the torches..." He said slyly. Just then, the others came into ear shot. "Now, get that pony in gear and lets get a move on boy!" Cervantes nearly barked, his expression no longer in a smile.

Thorne:

Feeling uneasy under Cervante's gaze, Thorne ducked her head, gently pressing her heels into Tal's side, so subtle that it could not be seen. Her horse seemed to shy from Cervantes as they continued on, not letting him get to close. She looked up at the boy with an arched eyebrow. This pair did not seem the sort to travel with children, and definately not the sort to be willing to talk to them quietly, as it appeared Cervantes was doing. As she moved within hearing range, she heard the gruff command, and saw the change in demenor. Well, maybe the trip wouldn't be as bad as she thought, Maybe. She slowed Tal down as she came up to the two, still wondering what Cervantes had ment about Valdimer.

Cervantes:

Riding on for a good half hour, the group put a fair amount of distance between themselves and Browning. Suddenly, Cervantes pulled the black mare to a stop. He was sniffing the air. Just ahead was a bridge. He smiled to himself as he called back to Val. "Want to have a little fun fella?" He asked as he nodded his head toward the bridge. "You might even get a bite to eat in the process!" He joked.

Thorne:

Arching an eyebrow, Thorne looked at the spot where Cervantes was pointing to. "What are you talking about?" She focused on the spot, tensing, preparing.

Cervantes:

"There are about seven men under that bridge waiting to ambush us..." Cervantes said flatly as he looked over to the magess.

Thorne:

A bit taken aback at Cervantes bluntness, Thorne tensed, tightening on the reins of Tal a bit. As the horse stomped on the ground and echoed his rider's nerves, Thorne looked to her traveling companions. "What are we going to do? And what do you mean bite to eat?" She looked distinctly nervous in the shadow of her cloak.
