Rock is aways good, hurricane-like or "Kuschel-Rock" (cuddle-rock). Don't laugh, they really call it that around here everywhere where they speak german.

Oh dear! I am going to fix that. The double http that is. The versions are the original ones. Golden Earring always sung (and still sing, those guys started in 1961 and see no reason to stop) in english. American English.

You want something dutch in dutch? Or maybe even in the version of dutch spoken in the corner I was borne?

I really love "Against All Odds" too.

"Normaal" is a bit country-ish but they are world famous in The Netherlands. And I wasn't allowed to go to a concert! Because quite early on in their career a (disgusting according to my mom) habit evolved: Some ( a lot *grins*) girls would wear a bathing suit under their clothes and the guys would put both hands at the neck seam of their t-shirt and pull ... To not shame the guys (not everyone is strong enough to rip a seam) they would carefully cut it ...

It is about two guys driving their bikes like mad, doing races (also racing on their way to the race), that is the quick part, and then at the end they have an awful accident.

The last line: And never, no never they rode roaring fast again ...

The lead singer crashed his bike four or five times. Once he toured wearing casts on a leg and an arm.

I love Golden Earring. When I was in college I used to put my stereo speakers in the front windows of my house and blast it while I was sitting in the front yard. My roommate came home one day and said he started hearing the music from 7 or 8 blocks away. Radar Love was a good song but the album had better stuff.
