Hey guys,

I hate doing this to you all, again...but it is a life move that needs to happen. I have just been accepted to move into a new home (YAY!), but that means that I may not have internet straight away. Of course I have things all set up with the telephone company, but the internet connection may not be up if there is no line for it. And I can't find that out until Monday when I move in.

So...I will keep you guys updated with the brief chances I get some WiFi service at the coffee hub. Sorry for the trouble guys, I know it's a pain the butt. I'm sorry.

Sorry I haven't been around much the last couple days guys...a little touch of a cold ruined my weekend for lit. But I'm feeling better now that the cold pill I took is working.

Great post Lucian, slipped into the character very serviceably. We are fortunate to have you on board with us.

As for the bad guys (Myself, Luna, and Rider, and the possibility of Minxy too ) we're in a holding pattern before we start our next scene.

Weaver, I was thinking you could come up with a couple of NPC vampires for a henchmen for Renee, Say: only 3 or 4, and not as powerful or as talented as she'd like. Just a couple like Mariska who was away outside the mansion when it blew up.

I'll put my thinking cap on and see what I can come up with. A couple of lower vampires that Renee isn't too keen on...but what else can she do? A girl needs minions!

Hey guys,

This is to let you all know that I am back from the move, internet connected and boxes half unpacked.

Also, I got a little message from Minxy. She didn't have a lot of time so she asked me to pass it all on to you guys. She also is moving and is having trouble getting permission to install a special cable for the internet from her landlord. She feels terrible and she never intended to be away for so long. I will keep you all updated as I learn things from her.

But from the looks of things, we may need to do a little head count to see if this story is worth continuing. Don't feel bad if you have lost interest...it happens. But honesty is best so that we don't leave people hanging.

So, shall I start?

So...we have a villain in Veroe, a reluctant and tortured hero in Lucian and a victim with me...so we are off to a good start

personally I prefer chicken over turkey myself, but who am I to buck tradition. Also when my brother in law brines and fries the turkey...mmmm...I can overlook not having chicken for a day.

Fries it? Like all of it? At once? Wow...that must be one amazingly big deep fryer...

Yep all of it at once.

It's a bit of a tradition here in the south, Shy. You get a big pot a propane tank alot of oil and an outdoor heating stand. It is dangerous though, if you don't dry out the bird and thaw it before the excess water on the surface will make the hot oil pretty much explode out of the pot. If you don't know what you're doing with it it can catch your house on fire or burn you and innocent bystanders easily. Fortunately my brother-in-law knows what he's doing. Frying it I think is much better than roasting turkey cause it keeps the meat inside from drying out and brining it before hand causes alot of flavor to penetrate deep into it too.

Geez I'm making myself drool now.

Be it known Veroe, that your mouthwatering description of your Thanksgiving dinner had me running to get some fried chicken...since I couldn't get fried turkey and I am too scared to do as you described.
