*giggles* Playing bad can be so fun. I can't count the number of bad characters I have had and they were all a blast to play.

I honestly think you nailed it. The whole innocent look being so misleading. That sounds exactly how John described her in the beginning.
I am sure we will see crazy come out even more later, but so far I think you have totally nailed the character....I wouldn't change anything about her

Let's talk plot to coordinate Allejandro's attack on the manor...I am assuming you want Renee to survive right?

Also my thinking was that Renee saved him from the black death back in medieval spain because like John Allejandro had latent mental powers even as a human, empathy to name it, she turned him into a vampire. Renee was pretty much his obi-wan to Allejandro's Anakin for a long time. She used him as a somewhat of a personal assistant and second when dealing with the other vampire societies in the world since they couldn't lie or vacilate without Allejandro knowing and by extension Renee.

For a couple centuries they were more than just boss and employee though, they were lovers. That is until Allejandro grew more and more frustrated with Renee's and the societies' complacent willingness to keep things at the centuries-long status quo. He was caught trying to break into the manor's vault room where Renee caught him, but rather than kill him she banished him. With no society to claim him or protect him, he was put on the list of rogues and every society trouble-shooter, such as John, the world over would be gunning for him.

If you know of the Anime: Naruto, Allejandro pretty much wants what Ichimaru wants. Progress in what he perceives as a stagnant state of affairs with Sacrebeu and with humans.

With that said I'm going to have Allejandro and his stone-cold killer vamps break into basement of the mansion and the vault room steal a few of the off-limit save for the elders of the society items and the oldest vampire in all the world (the child Vampire) under Renee's protection. He'll leave behind bombs and blow up the manor pretty much killing all the vampires there.

Atleast that was my plan so far, so what's your two cents in this?

Veroe when one talks about vampires, then one always has to come across the idea of souls, damnation and sins. They kind of go hand in hand and you did an excellent job working it. Especially with the nun idea that was given you. I would think she would certainly be one to question her place with God and everything else.

I have to agree with Wolfie. The whole notion of souls, sins and torturous damnation is an aspect of vampirism that I find people go soft on. Yet it is a huge part as to why a vampire is so deliciously evil in the first place. Am I wrong? You did it wonderfully, so don't doubt yourself there. Why you doubt your abilities is beyond me, you are brilliant and secretly I think you know it

As far as I am concerned, the only person's abilities I am doubting are my own. Like Woflie said, everyone is so good that it is hard to reach that level personally! But alas, it makes the story better if I can come even close. Thank you again guys.

well... as every one in this thread is well above par in writing (except me, sigh) I am exceptionally happy and pleased. I am always dying to see new posts and see what happens next, and right now in particular what naughty,evil, things Dream Weaver has planed for Renee to do to John.

Shy has been a particular delight.Her descriptive and poetic style is worthy of publication.
I love the way DW is owning Renee and clearly having fun with her
Vero, as usual ,is complicating matters and writing a bunch of fun, interesting characters in the process.
And of course I am falling in love with Trinity

Thank you all for bringing my seed of an idea to such wonderful life!

Veroe, I like your take on Renee and Allejandro’s history. And it shows a bit of a weakness on Renee’s part for him that she let him live. I’m not familiar with Naruto, but I see what you mean.

I would like Renee to live a while longer at least. Looks like she’ll be needing to regroup after the attack, start planning a counter attack to get the child vampire back at least. Is there a significance to the child vampire, or is it more a status symbol to be the one who has it (her/him?)

Right now I'd say the kid's a status symbol, but if I can think of some way to use him more than that I will.

As for keeping Renee safe during the bombing I think either taking refuge in something like a safe in the vault room or just using vampire speed to escape the worst of the blast will work.

Good idea, I shall start planning her escape as well as the delcious torment she will inflict on John beforehand. Will there be a confrontation with Allejandro? Not a fight just yet, but perhaps a moment they come face to face before the big bang? Maybe that being what gives her those few seconds to escape?

Absolutely, a moment between them is good, and will be delicious IMHO. we'll probably both have to be flexible and improvise when they come face to face, but I believe we can pull it off.

So how about when they take the kid Renee will be there to be involved in the face to face meeting, oh and when the attack happens Allejandro will be stronger and faster than he should be according to his age (because again he's cheating).

And for your next post when Renee finds out Allejandro is in town from John just go with your best instincts and what we've talked of about their past relationship, and I'll adjust whatever is needed and build off from what you write. we don't need to have it all set in stone right now, we'll let it grow organically.

Well I've sent off the PM to those list of names you gave me Vixen. It may not be what they had in mind, but I gave them the offer.

I know that my opinion on the vampire side of the organisation really isn't relevant, as, well, I am not involved. But the story writer in me is dying to speak up. If you hate the idea, just dismiss it, it really isn't that important.

But as it stands it seems very separated, the only link being John. And the story writer in me is screaming to tie it together a little more neatly.

In my mind, and unbeknown to them all I think the child should play a bigger part than just a status symbol. Well, maybe Alejandro knows, which could be an added reason why he wants the child in the first place, or it could just be a happy accident. In my mind I see the boy child (I am presuming it is a boy) as quite the silent type, doesn't speak, doesn't really react to much at all. In looks he is a child, but by all other means he is not. I don't see any of the vampires ever really reacting with him except to give him offerings to feed. But in my head I also have the idea of what effect it would have to feed off such an old, pure souled vampire. As a special kind of child perhaps he didn't lose all of his purity when he was turned? And if one was to feed (which hasn't happened since he was turned), perhaps it could have astronomical consequences. It could make the vampire intensely stronger, kind of like vampire steroids/crack/heroin all rolled into one. But too much would eventually kill them, which none of them know about since no vampire has ever lived to tell the tale.

I also have this nagging feeling to at least link either Trinity or Elysia to this in some far out way. Something that ties it all together instead of it all relying on John to be the connection. It wouldn't be exposed until much later on, but at least there would be a tie. Perhaps once John is severely punished once Renee finds out his feelings for Trinity (give it time for it to develop more and some sexy fun of course), Renee could threaten/convince Trinity to fight on her side to get the child vampire back. Or perhaps Elysia could be a blood relative of the child, and therefore hold some significance if the above idea is developed further.

These are just my little, insignificant thoughts. Some food for thought, I suppose. I will try and have my post up today.
