Nice, very nice. I nod my head approvingly as I stop to admire the sketches on the walls. The hardwood floors are sleek and shiny, a pity that DG is thinking of covering them with carpeting.

I place a newly potted African violet on one of the empty pedestals, its muted colors not competing with but complimenting the artwork. When DG finishes his 3-D work, I can place them on the receptionist's desk in the foyer. A fig tree in the corner perhaps? I write this on my to-do list with a question mark. Another trip to Home Depot may loom on the horizon.

Tsk, tsk. Someone has left an empty soda can on the counter in the kitchenette. Disposing of it I ponder the need for more obvious trash receptacles.

Well, it's a start. Now that the basics have been covered, I stop once more to focus on DG's work.

Startled, I awaken from my reverie to discover 45 minutes have passed. Damn, I think to myself as I place the word "batteries" on my to-do list. A night with my vibrator may take the edge off my growing desire.

I drop my résumé on the table as I pass through the foyer hoping DG needs a receptionist/assistant/Girl Friday.

Same here. And it looks great standing on the bedroom dressing unit, in its very ornate, but very 'right' frame.

Enjoying the gallery effect DG....keep em' coming. Maybe we should open our own gallery page. Hmmmmm?

hmmm...I guess people just aren't interested in wax covered cake.

It's not so bad if you scrape off the wax.
