If the "do" is hey, should I leave my wife and kids for someone I met on the internet, then I vote "don't." If the "do" is some sort of risk in which there may be a pay off, but no one gets hurt, then maybe I say "do."

There are differents forms of damnation, and I would like to weigh my choice of which brand of suffering I will accept.

If the relative value of misery earned is equivalent regardless of option, then "do" likely becomes more satisfying. This is a highly unlikely situation though.
