Looks like it'll be the Gruden Bowl as the Raiders are gonna beat my Titans and meet the Bucs in the Super Bowl.

Still proud of my Titans though.. no one expected them to get this far and some people didn't even expect them to keep the game as close as it was... Again turnovers kick the Titans ass... The last minute of the first half I'm afraid sealed their fate.

Congrats to Raiders and T-Bay Bucs fans.

Just remember the Titans next year.. ;)

On the bright side I suppose... Jeff Fisher will be the coach for the AFC so the Titans will be represented..

Titans have nothing to be ashamed of. That was quite a season, especially with a 1-4 start.

And after that stretch drive, McNair might wear the title of "most respected opponent" in the league.

To be honest, when the Titans were 1-4... if you were to tell me then that they'd go as far as the AFC Championship, I would have thought you'd had been dropped on your head. :) Playoffs maybe as a wild card, but AFC South champs? First round bye? Not even Titans fans could say they saw that coming.

I'm just trying to find out now how much under .. or over .. the salary cap the Titans are. I'm not sure if this is a situation like Oakland where they are way over the cap and this may be as good a chance as any to make it, or if they are under enough to keep the core players and bulid to an even better team next season.

Liontamr,

You were right about many things with the Titans.

I agree that Fischer is one of the best coaches in the league and probably the best at getting his players motivated.

I also agree that McNair should have been voted into the Pro-bowl. I think why he was not is the strong east coast media bias that picked a Jets-Eagles Superbowl.

Tenessee is about two players short of winning the big one. I think they need one really good speed burner and a little help on special teams.

Then the rest of the league better watch out.
