There have been nationwide internet attacks happening on all 40 US root servers this week, creating slower performance.

It hasn't received much press, but it's happening. I posted elsewhere about it this morning.

So, some of what we are experiencing might be between Lit's web host, sql servers and the NAP governing each of our connections to Lit.
