I am exhausted yet still awake--why? Because every time I lay down, the lack of gravitational help means my sinuses swell and I can't breathe. Or...I start to fall asleep and the sound of my breathing (aka: snoring) startles me. This leaves me not only tired, but pissed off as well.

I took some Benedryll--but I tend to end up with a Benedryll-hangover and it is too hard to function the next day.

Alright. I am finished bitching.

Well...maybe.

I have a snot-question. Why is it that you can blow and blow and blow your heart out and then suddenly have tons that try to drip out? I just don't get it.

Listening to the clock...tick...tick...tick.... Waiting for the drug to take effect....

I took the kids to the park today. It was so hot I took my t-shirt off, now I'm sunburnt.

You can't win, honestlly.

There is a simple solution that I use quite often. Sleep in a recliner rather than your bed. It keeps your head high enough that your sinuses don't swell.

I don't own a recliner. I first tried sleeping on the sofa with a bunch of pillows--But that made my neck hurt.

The Benedryll worked. I slept. That was after 3, it is now almost 10. I slept through my alarm clock and missed my class this morning. I should have just taken the benedryll at around 6 pm last night.
