Here on Lit, we love to flirt
And talk of sex and such.
The rule of order for most of us
Is that we look, not touch.

Our paths may cross and times we'll share
We'll laugh and chat of lives.
We'll speak of dreams and fantasies
Then back home to our wives.

A daring few may take the plunge
And move to a real affair.
To find that missing spark in life
That comes from love they share.

For those of us that lack the guts
We just go on and flirt
And just pretend we're someone else
And not our spouses hurt.

And in the end we ask ourselves
Did we find real happiness
Or just enjoy a cyber fuck
Then back to wedded bliss.

:( I am sorry no one resonded to your post. I would have before now but I didn't read it until just now. I always start on the last page on weekends and work my way forward.

It is a good poem. It says a lot. There are a few rough edges that I am sure some of our poets on line could help you smooth out.

Being from North Carolina I know that people from Tennessee have a hard enough time just putting a full sentence together :D . So you did very well.

Seriously, it is a good poem. Thanks for sharing it with us, me. I am sure others have enjoyed it as well, they just didn't leave a comment for you.
