No. I like to watch the light die in a man's eyes as I wrench my blade from his cratered chest. You don't get that lovely visceral detail from a shooting.

Nope. No interest. My dad and brother have concealed carry permits, hand guns, and like to go to the range though.

Nope, Have swords, crossbows, longbows, and several other medieval weapons though.

Ah, the old willfully silly thinking coming out to rationalize gun use coming from fauxmagineme2. I'm sure the Virginia Tech shooter would have been just as deadly having to try to stab that many people, or the clocktower shooter would have been as much a threat with a bow or slingshot.

Really? That fuckin tool is still here? How dense can someone possibly be? At least the other turd had the sense to disappear.

I've owned guns.. And I'm not against them.. But I don't think any idiot should own machine guns, fully automatic weapons.. IMO, some common sense gun control is a good idea...whether it cures the problem or not.

Hang out on the gb.. You'll see many examples of people that have no business having an automatic weapon.

Yes, I have one gun and my husband has a bunch he inherited from his dad. I grew up on a farm where it was a necessity and my whole extended family hunted on the property. I never went hunting, but I can shoot better than the mister at the gun range. We are responsible with them, there are no kids in our house nor would anyone even know they were present. You would have to know about the super secret bat cave and have a combination to have access to them.

Yeah, I read that story the other day about the guy who held his Camry to the head of the woman as he raped her. Clowns, thanks for bringing the GB here. :D

Yep. Couple of them & one for skeet shooting - as I really got into that into the last few years.

Like most of the gun owners I know - we hope and pray that we never, ever have to use them against someone - and will regret for the rest of our lives that we got forced into that situation - but we're not gonna roll over and let someone take our life or our loved ones lives either.

Example - have a friend who is a real estate agent here in Dallas. She just went and got her CHL (Concealed Handgun License) - not because she suddenly wanted a gun - but because sadly, some agents have recently got raped and killed at open houses they were having.

Although, granted a gun is not the only answer to these situations and people should have multiple options before a gun if that is feasible/possible (like mace or taser) - but unfortunately we live in a sometime scary world and wish it was the safe world some folks have in their rosy viewed world (I really, really do) - but sadly it sometimes isn't - but once again, most gun owners like myself hope and pray we never ever even get close to a situation where we need to use them.

My household has probably 20+ guns, all locked up in a gun safe. We go out shooting at zombie targets and little explodey things.

No guns will cross my threshold and I fail to understand the obsession with them over there...It scares the shit out of me that people carry them around...and how easily they can be purchased...

This.

Don't have one. Don't plan on having one.

Butt...

My SO has more than one. And plans on buying more.

Antique purpose. No gang connections whatsoever.

Pinky Promise.

3 Shotguns
3 Rifles
2 Handguns

Some bought, some inherited. All for sporting use. I am not an NRA guy. I'm in favor of permits and limiting their ownership to people who have taken the proper courses and know how to properly handle them. I do not see a need for anyone to have an assault rifle.

I own one, and wouldn't mind owning more. I tend to get very defensive on my pro-gun stance, so as long as other people respect my opinion and my right to bear arms, I will respect whatever opinions they have on the matter. As long as it doesn't escalate beyond than that, I'll be content :)

I don't own any. I have actually never even shot a gun before. My dad was an MP. We had guns all over our house. They just never interested me.

I've got my CPL but don't have one yet. Personal protection for myself and my household is the purpose. A biometric gun safe will enter the household if a gun does. I'm thinking possibly a 9mm ruger.
