I'm relatively new here, and will admit, I know little about f subs. I have noticed in reading the posts here though, that many f subs refer to their Dom as "Daddy". Is this the most common term for your Master.....as Mistress, or Ma'am is for a m sub?

Hi and welcome on this board... I believe that 'Daddy' is more commonly used in a specific type of role play... not every Master is a Daddy and not every Daddy is a Master...

But anyone please correct me if I am wrong...

My Master wasn't my Daddy from the start, but as we grew closer our roles evolved and he became my Daddy. It was a natural progression that resulted from his guidance, teaching, nurturing, and discipline. glad to be of help. I never had a Daddy because I don't care for that role, but it really intrigues me and I think the concepts involved are amazing, so I have had some bookmarks on it for a while. If you google "Daddy Dom" you will find a lot. Good luck!

Don't limit yourself to M/f relationships or F/m relationships, either. I'm surprised Etoile hasn't come in to say this yet, so I'll say it for her--Daddies can be either gender. And not all Mistresses keep male submissives, either. Majority, maybe, though on this forum I can think of far more F/f pairings than F/m.

Personally speaking, my dominant partner is only my daddy in play. That isn't how we identify most of the time.

Master has always been Master to me. I did have one Master who liked being called Daddy, it wasn't really creepy but didn't really fit either. I prefer to call Master, "Master" and that is what pleases Him. Although if He wished to be called anything, I would of course oblige.

Of course, I realize the many different combinations of D/s. The posts I've read referring to "Daddy" have all been from f subs though.

That IS true. Granted, the bisexual/homosexual submissive males gracing this forum are startlingly few--I'm hard pressed to think of ANY. I'm sure that Daddy/boy relationships exist in a M/m world, but they just aren't being talked about here. Pity.

I have a Daddi it has evolved into that for play time sometimes yet She is also my Mistress/Master for She is ftm transgenderged and also posts here so I suspect She will grace us with Her presense and imput.

For me it is easier to call Her Daddi then Mistress at the present moment because I'm trying to wrap my mind around how our relationship has evolved into what it is. Above all else She is my equal and partner for I'd rather have Her then a D/s relationship for without Her I would not want to exist.

Generally speaking in the Lesbian world Daddy is spelled Daddi. It makes it less specific I suppose.
To tell you the truth, Daddi is a whole nother world in Lesbian relationships. Daddi/little boi is more common than Daddi/little girl for some reason.
Daddi's are generally rougher around the edges, rougher in their treatment (in a loving way of course) and they love their belt .
Daddi's generally dress in drag as well. And they almost ALWAYS mark their little boi or girl.

Yes it is more common for it to be Daddi/little boi then Daddi/little girl but then again nothing about us is common. I guess I prefer Daddi play time over Mistress for it is rougher and I like that because I love the belt

That's it pericisely. I couldn't come up with the words I wanted. Because yes I live to serve my Daddi yet I'm not against initiating sex or oh doing something bratty to see the reaction it gets but generally if I crave a spanking it is most simplistic to just ask saves the time and effort of trying to get into trouble.

Yes it did start a mind fuck yet it was a very enjoyable one so it grew from that. I still remember that and just remembering it causes shivers.
