Sorry I've been gone for a few days, life gets in the way of the fun things now and then. :(

To all the lovely littles here who are moms, Happy Mother's Day! :rose:x12 May this day be wonderful for you. You are truly special and it's impossible to thank you properly for the gift of motherhood and guidance and love that you bring to the world.

"Thank you Daddy M!"

i can imagine!!! What a thing to wake up to

"Little bugger is still up there too! I can't reach him on the vaulted ceiling, even with the swatter - but I'm keeping an eye on him - he ever gets down far enough for me to reach him, he's HISTORY! (Otherwise I imagine I'm sleeping in the recliner tonight:D)"

darn those high ceilings!!
My son is scared to death of spiders, imagine a 6'4" football player screaming like a little girl for me to come save him from the spider, then saying mom dont kill it just take it outside. My response as i hit it with a shoe - that spider is dead

One of the many reasons why Daddies are important! :D Last night my Angelbunny called me at 1am or so because she couldn't sleep. I talked to her and told her that I'm watching over her, keeping the monsters from coming out from under the bed and out of the closet. She has a small dog so I told her that he's her monster attack dog and he has his "magic bone" that will keep them away too. She thanked me and soon was off to sleep. She told me on the phone this morning that she slept very well. :) I love doing things like that, taking care of my babygirl.

Aw soooo sweet!
when i'm having a bad night my Daddy skypes with me and watches over me to make sure i sleep. i always sleep so much better when he's watching over me

"RA sweetie, how is your back this morning?"
Back is sore..I'm sure the boys slept better outside on the ground than I did..but, I'll be fine. I was doing some chair exercises last night which surprisingly felt so good the pain in my back was all but nil..(LOL ;))

Daddies are good to have around, very true.

That's sweet too! We haven't been able to Skype over the past couple of months since her computer died. :( I sent her my mini netbook computer to use until she can get the money to fix it but the webcam doesn't work. I miss seeing her so much! we send each other pictures, but it's not the same.

"They're the only thing I'm really very scared of either. The boys had gerbils, mice, rats, snakes and lizards as pets over the years and I certainly had my share of pet mice, lizards and such too. I can watch National Geographic specials about them with fascination and look at them with interest OUTSIDE - but when they come into MY territory I don't care HOW many other bugs they're capable of killing and eating!:D" (Laughing as I remember a moment from my first marriage - calling my husband at work and saying 'you have to come home and kill this spider!' and him laughing and saying, 'I'm in the Army, I don't think I can get leave for that!')

*stepping over to give RA a much needed back massage* I hope you're feeling better soon :rose:

Us Daddies need and love to have someone to take care of and protect. ;)

:( shame she doesnt live near me i'd take a look at her computer for her - maybe she can go to the local college and see if one of the computer techs in training might be able to fix it for her cheap.
Pictures are nice but you're right they are just not the same.

"The SO has done that a time or two when I've been having a bad time - talked to me about how he is always here with me, his arms around me, holding me, comforting me, and rocking me to sleep at night........."

That's a great idea on the computer tech, JBM... :)

Thank you, Mutato, , I appreciate the back rub.

Peaches... I'm not a huge fan of spiders, either. I can get up close and personal with them, but if one just "sneak up" on me...well, let's just say I gain an octave and lose a pint..:D

She lives in Ohio, not sure how close that is to you. We think it may be her power supply because she couldn't charge it. Not sure if it's the actual brick or the port. I'll tell her about the college option, though I'm not sure if there's one near her.

I do the same thing for my Angelbunny.
