After taking in the interchanges between the bright and lovely Littles, Peaches, TT and OK, I return the latter's smile saying that perhaps today would be a good day to stay out of the cold and indulge in some outrageously expensive and totally unnecessary shopping, including a good restaurant for lunch.
As we stand, excusing ourselves I move to Baby OK's side and hand in hand we walk out into the world.

Peaches, the spanking wouldn't have been so bad, but he used the paddle since his hand has the opposite affect that he wanted. My rump is feeling much better this morning after Daddy rubbed it. Lesson learned here..don't touch a man's thin mints! ~giggles~

I must say though, this is the happiest I've been for a very, very long time! Loving every minute of it!! I have an outstanding Daddy that I love and I'm so blessed to have him.

It sure is slow in here. Could be the weather. It's freaking cold again in the Northeast, after some glorious short-wearing days

My resume is on Monster and this year I've started looking seriously - I've googled companies whose ads I've responded to (so that my introductory letter could be specific) and I had one really exciting inquiry requesting my resume, availability and requirements so I also looked up salary ranges - both for the company itself (and similar companies) and for the specific area of the country. I also have several Chamber of Commerce directories for the area we hope to live in and although I haven't done so yet, I intend to blanket the area with resumes - I've actually gotten a job or two that way before when moving. A potential problem though might be that I DO NOT want to keep doing what I'm doing now - feeling tremendously burned out. But if you have suggestions or ideas or recommendations....."

It sounds like you have a good plan of attack. A targeted cover letter is always a great idea. Perhaps you could write a generic one for the blanketing you intend to do. In it, you might mention relocating to the area, highlighting your experience and interest in pursuing new opportunities. It makes sense to get out of the field if you are burned out. But you don't have to let them know about it. I'd tell them you are ready for bigger challenges or new directions where your extensive experience could benefit the company and client. PM me if you need more. Or we could talk on the phone.
