Along with those special hugs and kisses, I'm throwing one out to my big sis, Peaches, and to a wonderful, attentive Chef/Daddy ST. Since you've been here, it has been such a pleasure to watch you come out of your shell. Unfortunately I haven't had much chance to taste what sounds like superb cooking!!! Hopefully I can in the near future. For now, I'll do what Cookie did and just pick at the left overs...I didn't have dinner so I'm a bit hungry.

Sissy (Cookie), just like you, it's been a crazy weekend, and a virgin margarita or mimosa wouldn't hurt, along with some good chick flicks, and special time with my sisters.

Chef/Daddy ST, my Daddy is right...resident Daddy around here seems to be ever-changing, and you have slipped into that role seamlessly...caring for all the little girls here like we're you're own....like our own Daddies, for the girls that have them, would care for us.

I'm blessed to be part of this family.

Oh, and Daddy? One of MY first concerts was the Steve Miller band as well...same as Sissy's. Probably same tour, too. Now, if only I could remember which one it was. Certain herbs at the time keep me from complete recollection!

(Pouring a scoop of ice into the blender along with a generous measure of margarita mix - getting down a margarita glass and rubbing the edge with lime before dipping it into the salt - quickly blending the ice and mix together and pouring the frothy mix into the glass. Garnishing with a slice of fresh lime and carrying it in to my sister. Kissing the top of her head and heading back into the kitchen, knowing my Daddy isn't going to allow nibbling leftovers - I can smell chicken frying and biscuits baking again.)

Oh...sis...you know my weaknesses!!! I LOVE fried chicken and biscuits but haven't had it in years!!! Maybe there's a chicken breast I can take the skin off of, and leave the butter and honey off the biscuits. (Stealthily sneaks a bite of the white meat, skin still attached, and a smile bite of biscuit with a tiny dollop of butter and honey...shhhh....don't tell)!
