OMG its raining up there to? It's going to rain for the whole weekend
 
Ha...our storm system isn't gone yet..right now it's lightening and raining. Pouring down rain....bottom drop out of the frekking sky rain...ugh..off and on all day..lol

I slept for over 9 hours, been awake for over 2 and already need a nap :rolleyes: **hugs back**

Thankfully no thunder or lightning yet. While I like thunderstorms, my young daughter doesn't. Just buckets of rain, enough for a flood watch. Fortunately I'm up high enough on a hill that if I'm flooding, Noah better have his ark built already. ;)

Good that you've been sleeping! That you want a nap is a good sign that you're healing. Of course you probably already knew that. :)

I'm doing pretty good. I'm relaxing for the night and off to bed in a couple of hours.

I learn something this very wise friend I had that's no longer with me R.I.p told me something about myself we all have been hurt at some point and hurt is never a easy feeling he told I have to forgive the people that hurt me but it's hard to do he also told me that the first step to forgiveness is you have to forgive yourself.I did not know what he mean't by that. Then he asked me do I love myself I said I do .you know what he said. he said that if I love me I would forgive myself

I am not trying to preach but he told me that there is power in forgiving someone he said if someone has hurt they get power and if you don't forgive them they keep that power over you but if you forgive them it releases you I am not saying it's easy I mean I still have something's to work through but. I will always remember this friend of mine ..he is not here he died some years ago heart problems
he also told me to always be myself that forgiveness is a choice .........

PS this the truth my true feelings and I will tell about those hurts with my sisters if they want to here pm me I am willing to share
 
Forgiveness will pretty much mean something different to every one.

I know mine is different to others. I'll forgive people in the sense that it's not my burden to carry, so i'll put it at their feet (so to speak) and move on.
Wether I move on from that friendship or whatever all depends on the circumstances and person.
I have enough of my own baggage to carry without being angry or at times even caring about something that isn't my problem.
May sound uncaring, but my problem is a care too much, but I refuse to let something that someone else did eat me up or upset me.

I survived my shift, I'm happy to be home relaxing.

And, I wanted to say thank you to Daddy for keeping me entertained for a bit during that shift. He never fails to make me smile! :rose:
 
Morning All..(evening to Hayley :D)

I might have to swim to the mailbox today..:rolleyes: When it rains like this our driveway floods. My boys like to call it "Lake *insert my last name here*" :D:D

I've got picture of them "swimming" in our "lake" ...it's actually quite cute.


ANNNND then I have to hose them off before they come into the house because it's muddy. We live in BFE and our driveway is a 1/10th mile long, not exactly graveled properly "road"..

kind of cool, though, the animal tracks we find when the ground is soft. The deer, coons, possum, snakes, turtles, what have-you cut through our field, across our drive, and into the neighboring field where they alternately plant corn, soy and cotton. It does not matter WHAT they have planted. the critters love to get into it..teehee.

We had a herd of about ten deer bedding down on our property last fall. Such a sight! I'm going to miss this place.

Yeah true but I also know that life is to short to hold that in me personally is sometimes hard for me to just let stuff go I know I have to because it's not healthy to go around not forgiving someone and I guess depending on what you do or say it takes me little longer and if I don't try to work it out with someone I lose sleep and can't focus. That's why I hate hurting people because that little voice will keep talking if I don't say am sorry and try to make up with them

I not going to take or do anything with that what I said actually came from my heart which is not always easy for me to do because I have been told don't over share don't say anything keep it to yourself. But if I do open up sometimes what say or depends on how I am talking to never stays between me and that person there are a lot of things that you guys don't know about. It's not that I don't want to to talk about it it's because am scared of what people may think and that ether in person or on the thread especially this one

Thanks one thing I do know is that I shouldn't be afraid to say what am feeling and what going on with me and opening up to people for me is a big step for I always hide what I really want to say and forgiving is personal and it is a big thing I mean I had friends out here in Miami that turn their backs on me a father that was never there I had to deal with losing a baby brother and grandma in the same year and just a lot on top that my mean ass boyfriend saying something rude everytime he came around, but never saying what I needed to say. So I think my first step is forgiving myself first
Because if I can't forgive myself how can I forgive someone else?
