Peaches, I hope you were able to finally smash that evil house guest!! I've had 2 pet tarantulas, one was a sweetie and loved to nap with my then 4 yr old daughter. She passed away (spider, not daughter) and the replacement was not nearly as friendly, but she was heartbroken, missing her spider, so I had to at least try.

JBM, so nice of you to offer to help Angel bunny. :) I love having another little close to me!!! Perhaps a friendship will develop. It is nice to be able to just sit and discuss this part of our lives over a glass of iced tea at the table or on the patio.

Mutato, I hope she can get it fixed asap. Wonderful that you had the spare to share. :)

"Cookie sweetie the 8 legged bugger never came down off the high spot in the ceiling - or for that matter, I never saw him leave the light fixture again although for a long time I saw his 6 eyes peeking at me every time I entered the room. Probably needless to say I spent the night trying to sleep on the couch - after wrestling with the cat all night (first push him off my face, then kick him off my feet, then push him off my face again.....) I've decided if I don't see the spider again this evening I'll risk it - probably easier to deal with him than the cat! Napping with the 4 year old:eek:.............Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!"

Cookie: I'm thankful that I did have a spare to send to my Angelbunny. I do my best to take care of her from so far away. Over the winter I sent her a hat, scarf, and gloves when she mentioned that her gloves were wearing thin. The first gift I sent her was a leather bookmark because she loves to read. I wish I could do more for her. :heart:

Peaches: I hope that nasty spider went away. It's no fun sleeping on the couch. I've had experience with that too, but for different reasons. :rolleyes: (((hugs)))

Had a hell of a day and came home and decided to be silly and rearrange. Got my feet up now.

Wasn't till 2 I realized I hadn't drunk more then a glass of water all day.
I hope everyone had a less hectic day then me

I prefer Daddy to Sir or Master - I will not ever call anyone those terms.

But I don't mean Daddy like a father figure.

I mean - well there is no way to say it that doesn't sound cheesy but I'm sure it's clear what I mean.

I used to say I'd never call anyone 'Daddy' but I get it now.

Dude has to deserve it, tho ;-)

Dude was the size of a penny. I told her she'd better not visit me like she was saying then. I killed it for her lol

Welcome! I agree. Daddy is so much more than Sir or Master. You will find many in this thread who share your opinion that it has nothing to do with our fathers. (Although there are some who do like the incest aspect--that's not me).

A daddy needs to earn the respect to be called Daddy. Just like a little needs to earn her place in his heart.
