Sorry I've been away for the past few days, it hasn't been a good weekend. On Saturday at job #2 for me, I was getting off of a step ladder and missed the last two steps, falling down about 3-4 feet and landing on my right leg. Not long after I went to the ER to get it checked because it didn't feel right and lo and behold, just what I thought - I had fractured my fibula (the outside lower leg bone) about 5" below my knee. So now I'm stuck on crutches for the next 4-5 weeks. I didn't make it here Saturday or Sunday because I was just too tired. The worst part of all for the remaining time is that my apartment is on the 3rd floor and I have 3 flights of stairs and a hill to get there. This is far from my first broken bone, but it's been many years since I've been on crutches. I see the orthopedic doctor on Thursday to check it out fully and find out how bad it really is.

This wasn't meant as a pity post, just wanted to let everyone know where I'd been since I've tried to visit here nightly.

I saw the earlier post from non-person I shall not name and I'm very angry. I shall refrain from saying anything further as I don't want to add fuel to the fire. Until the mods can do anything, not feeding the troll is the best solution in my humble opinion.

The point I've been trying to make in my PMs to you and Laurel is the need to further define and expand rule #5!

Even on ignore!!!

No one should have to feel that way here! There is something so drastically wrong with the omission of a rule stating that stalking and/or harassing a lit member will not be tolerated. This may be wide spread now because no one has kept the vermin in check. I am open to solutions. The same old same old ways are not working. Ignore is not the solution. Taking action against the vermin is required. Rules must be created and changes must be be made.

There are rules in place protecting the site against being declared a porn site and getting shut down. How would that group feel about a lit member being stalked and harmed in part due to the oversight of Lit. Seems legally, Lit should cover their bottom and have something on the books specific to stalking and harassment with follow up enforcement of said rules.

My manifesto! It's time to speak up or cue the crickets bury our heads in the sand and let the vermin run wild....not in my house! never!

Well said daddy Stan. Thank you for putting your thoughts into such a direct response. I agree that approaching Laurel is the best course. Maybe she would revise the rule so many more people could be protected too.
