I have been recording for several days, on the subject of Domination and submission...
I came to this adventure due to the high number of newbies *desiring* information on how to enter this arena. By opening up with what has worked for Me in trainings and the pitfalls of attitude to avoid I have begun to formulate a plan.
Yesterday I spent about 7 hours doing a rough recording to test My voice and material. I am satisfied with both and will do a final take today for one 70 minute CD on rules and rituals.
I also have the final version of My take on what Domination is and is not...geared at the women who come to Me wondering if it is a lifestyle they would like to visit. Other than having to write about 10 more minutes to bring it up to 65 minutes I am reading to do a final recording of this CD..which actually is the first CD.
My slave has now suggested that I NEED to write and record information geared at the males that want to know how to *get their w/g to dominate them...* I am considering that for the third CD.
Eventually there will be a CD of erotica as well...BUT...
the old proverbial BUT huh?
I am here to pick your most astute and serious sides about D/s and what information you would have or could see as useful if you were just beginning to learn all you could.
Any ideas would be very useful for this Domme!

I can't imagine that there's much I can add to your own thoughts, shadowsdream. Perhaps a few caveats are the best I can offer:

Curious D/sers and seasoned D/sers alike benefit well from introspection at every turn -- not just to identify limits and desires and all, but also to check in and make sure that their actions are still aligned with their consciences. For those of us raised (as most of us are) in a culture that isn't particularly kink-friendly, it's easy to have a strong sense of guilt about our actions if we're not careful. And, left unchecked, this guilt can build up and destroy our otherwise healthy relationships and even selves.

I'm not saying it's a bad, reprehensible lifestyle. Just, y'know, make sure you're still gonna like yourself in the morning.

Thank you NemoAlia for addressing that issue as well...all of the audios do take the experienced D/sers thoughts and occassional guilts or self questioning in mind as well.
Sometimes a simple re affirmation of Our needs through the eyes of another is enough to put the guilt aside or the question *is it all worth the struggle* to rest.

The idea rocks!

First of all, I believe the idea of the CDs are great!

What I would like to see, is information that can be used for those who are married, and single. Mistress Christine and David has a DOMestic website for couples. But I feel there is not enought cost effective information for the undecided newbie, or the budding poly newbie.

I don't know if this is the kind of inut you wanted, but it describes some of the thoughts that have swirled in my head.

Here is another:

When you have a candidate or two (or more) perhaps some pointers on how to make a rational choice might be helpful also.

There is a definite need for it, that is for sure. It would have saved Me a lot of errors!
