I have felt so welcomed here by all, but more than anyone it was Cymbidia who made me feel comfortable not just here, but within myself. If it was not for her, I would not be here.

Can't speak for Monster, But I don't have a Sub Handbook. <glancing at my special shelf> Screw the Roses, Send Me the Thorns, BDSM-To-English Phrasebook, by SpectreT, still in progress, Bondage on a Budget, The Lazy Crossdresser.... Nope, no Sub Handbook. I've got a Switch Manual floating about here someplace, but it only contains excerpts from the Dom Guide and Sub Handbook, with a lot of vague notes about "Using your imagination, for Christ's sake!", and "Think it through. You're in a unique spot." It's about as helpful as VCR instructions when you own a DVD player. I think I'm propping up a book case with it.

Well, there was that night i stayed out late cuz R and i were talking forever, just like we've done for a year on the phone but much much better. When i got home sometime after 3AM, my mother opened the door for me, as i was reaching for the door knob, and looked at me, her eyes narrowed.

"It's WAY too late for you to be just coming home," she declared. "I've been worried. I pictured you tossed off in ditch, raped and hurt somewhere."

"I'm, uh, so sorry, Mom. I didn't mean to worry you." Deja vu ghost memories from my long ago teen years flashed into the present. "I called you i when i got to R's house earlier this evening. Why didn't you just call my cell phone if you were worried? That's why i have it."

"Oh," she said, deflated, turning to allow me in the door. "I forgot about that."

Is that the kind of dirt you mean?

Well, i haven't seen her nipples so i can't verify them personally but she does have two breasts, from what i could tell, and so - if she's human and not disfigured or genetially disadvantaged in some way - i would assume she has two nipples, one on each breast.

I'll try: R's a person i didn't know my life was missing until i actually saw her for real. She's a piece of my life's puzzle that was not there, and i never knew it was not there, until i walked into her house that first time (the day i got to San Diego, much to my mother's mild chagrin). She's the sister i was supposed to have instead of the ones i got. She's a confidant and a true friend. She's a hell of a cook and has good taste in books. And she's fun to hang with. She's everything you think she'd be - and more.

I think (sappy and overused as is this little saying) that people come into your life for a reason, a season, or for life. R came into my life, and me into hers, to be part of it forevermore. But then we both knew that before we ever saw each other, too.
