CV gone mediaeval

I can't remember who posted the thread (lavender?), but there was a thread about the origin of common sayings. It inspired me to do a hot pot. I'm adding ingredients everyday. The bloth is good over noodles or rice.

Today, I added a scotch Bonnette and an onion. i know, I know. You are thinking if I ever learn a lesson. But the last time was two peppers. This time, just one. Well, my estimation was wrong again. I should have de-seeded it!

Anyway, I'm storing the pot in the fridge during the nights. I'm thinking since I'm boiling it over and over, jerms are dead.

Am I wrong?

Yeah Cv, I think the jerms will be dead. The birusses might only be wounded, but I don't think they will hurt you.

So, a hotpot is a fool proof from food poisoning?

Be that way, ratchet. I'm not sending you naked picks of my Snapon anymore. Bletch!

Them Scotch Bonnetts. Man, yeah. Hot.

Not the sort of the thing to give to an 18 month child.

Took ages to calm her down.

Hasn't lost her liking for curry though. Still says, Dad, can you put some tobasco on my vindaloo please? And chili and garlic sauce?

Tabasco is my favourit food.

I usually has the red one. Is the green one hotter? tastes different?

Green one has a hint of lime to it. better flavor. Swig directly off the bottle to get the taste of bad Mexican pissbeer off your palate.

I don't consider either of them hot, so I don't know what to tell you there.

Green is V. mild (even my wife likes that one) , Original is Mild and the Habanero is just touching spicy - about twice as strong as the original.

Clearly there's more than one kind of hot pot.

Otherwise this thread makes no sense to a Lancastrian such as myself. A spicy hot pot? What?

Well, a Lancashire hot pot is basically a half arsed pie. Stewed minced steak, vegetables and a nice gravy, with just a pastry lid. Sometimes the lid is made of slices of boiled potato with a binding sauce. Bake until the lid is brown.

Tradational pauper's dish here. Wastes nothing, but isn't spicy.

Never heard of 'bloth' before. So I had no idea what you were describing CV.

It's just a stew. Constant re-boiling will kill germs, but the overcooking will fuck over the taste.
