I have posted here before asking or seeking advise; and were well rewarded with the responses, for which we are grateful. However; This has nothing to do with the present question .

We are aware that the topics cover a variety of subjects as it should.

To get to the point- we enjoy reading erotic stories. At first, anything and everything with the subject matter of adultry turned us on.

Then, after we became sated, only stories of the kind that had the subject matter that dealt with our particular fantasy and desires were the only ones that apealed to us.

To the point- have any of you readers experienced or gone through this?

it's the way the human body works... or at least the psyche.

my personal philosophy is that our mind always needs to be challenged. this is true of erotic and non-erotic stimuli. once your mind is used to a particular level of stimulation, it needs to be amplified in order to get that same sort of "rush."

i can remember being a young teen and getting overwhelmingly aroused by seeing a picture of a breast. after that, of course, i needed to see more of a body, then more hardcore stuff, etc., at least until i HAD sex with an actual person.

point is... any time you're being stimulated by something, whatever it is, you get numb to it after a while and need something "stronger."

Well, you know porn is addictive as some drugs.

People tend to have a favorite drug.

At first abstaining from all porn will help, but in the long run you are hooked of your porn of choice.

Sucks don't it.:D

Good reply. But I thought porn was a positive addiction.
