I'm quite new here but my take on this would be pretty staightforward.
Most dd/lg relationships are like all other relationships whereby gifts on special occasions and on the needs of one or both of the parties are given as a token or a gesture of affection, they are not expected or demanded.

The sugar daddy can still be in that category if it was never discussed previous to the begining of the relationship that gifts or remuneration was expected, some wealthy men would probably lavish gifts on their little girls just as they would on any of their family members.
But for a relationship to be entered into whereby it was neccesary for the sugar daddy to present gifts or remuneration to allow the relationship to continue is purely and simply prostitution on the part of the person demanding said gifts.

Hi,
Just putting in my two pence on my experience of DDLG. I think the whole point of having a good, and i stress on good, daddy dom is the emotional connection and nurturing you get out of it. That for me is the most important aspect and I wouldn't trade the time/attention/admiration/affection he shows for any material gift in the world..
That being said, I realise the concept of sugar daddy is very different and if you are sure that's what you are looking for, good luck to you.
