If you're just sticking with online, my best advice would be to figure out what turns you on/what your motivation is/whatever, put up a personals ad, and see what happens. Recognize there are a lot of lairs/wannabes/trolls on "both sides of the whip", and don't let lust disengage your brain.

Neither party... knows the other is doing what they say they are.

Webcams are the exception to this, of course.
