So. I'm curious about something (well a lot of things, but that's a different thread):

What is it about a post that draws you to respond to it? Why do some threads have thousands of responses while others have none (and only a few viewers). Is it the identity of the original poster? Is it the topic? Is it the grammar (or lack thereof in the case of the new girl post)? What is it?

Please discuss.

Ulterior motive: trying to figure out how to get more traction to my own posts that seem to go unanswered and uncommented while others around them are generating comments in droves.

For me, I like to look for and post dirty pictures so I go to photo threads frequently. And I am definitely drawn to threads that have a "fun" factor to them.

Seems to be a common reaction. So I'm used to it. But, yeah that's why I chose the nickname I did.
