Here's what works for me:

First, abstain for a few days. Then, when you're ready for your photo shoot, masturbate almost to orgasm several times (like once every half hour for a couple of hours), then let yourself go soft again. Clomid is a fertility drug used to induce ovulation in women but used "off label" to raise fertility levels in men. It is better for men than injectable testosterone because it doesn't shrink the testesand comes in pill form. It prevents "man boobs" in bodybuilders and can assist the body is making it's own testosterone after a cycle of anabolic steroids.
