J.Leno is coming under attack for some comments made about Koreans eating dogs, As a matter of fact many in the West have condemed the practice. Now, I dont care what they eat cause its there culture and to me its just a another form of Diversity. And since I have been told that one must accept diversity,Im wondering why some people are upset with what the Koreans eat? Cant we all just get along?

No!

Anybody harms my dog has not got long to live!

It's a disgusting practice that is outlawed everywhere in the civilised world.

The Koreans purport to be civilised, they should act as such.

Would you be so happy to accept cannibalism in another culture?

I love dogs too..............But dont the French eat horsemeat? Its their culture, I cant even eat venison which some here in the states really like...............My only thought on the matter was that its the Koreans Culture,Its what they have done for generations. Many in the states want to "Celebrate" diversity and tolarance. Seem to me that some of the people who preach diversity and tolarant are not very tolarant of the Koreans.

Horses? I did say the 'civilised world!

I can't eat veal or venison, but you can stretch diversity only so far.

I sometimes find that those who preach, often don't do!

So are you saying the French are not Civilized? I just find it hard to believe that those who preach tolarance and diversity for the rest of us are not themselves tolarant! And therefore in my eyes frauds!

I have eaten horse, I have eaten cat, I have eaten dog, I have eaten beef, I have eaten pork, i have eaten chicken, i have eaten poultry.

Some things I would not eat as readily again as i ate them unknowingly as the firsttime.

we here in the western worl view cats, dogs, horses as pets and friends, in korea they are a food source. In India Cows are sacred, here in the west they are mcdonalds burgers.

its a matter of perspective.

The way we raise beef, pork poultry for food, they raise cat and dog for food no different.

There is a difference when it comes to canabalism. humans is humans everything else is up for grabs to eat.

I don't have a problem with people eating whatever animal they want or not eating whatever animal they don't want to.

Hey, as an ardent vegetarian I just have to say how pissed off I am at the assumption that somehow eating cow is somehow morally superior to eating dog. You're still killing an animal for your food.

*Nodding Head in agreement*

Views are based solely on the traditions, customs, or cultures that you were raised with. Yes, I eat beef. That'd really piss off someone from India who view them as sacred.

No, I wouldn't knowingly eat a dog, cat, or monkey that some cultures view as food sources.

But I have eaten cow, pig, fish, chicken, antelope, bear, deer, squirrel, rabbit, and probably some other things that I can't think of at the moment. And THAT probably pisses of the vegetarians. To each their own, I say. :p

A Kansas teacher was forced to lay off his plans to feed puppies from the pound to his boa constrictors (which are housed in his classroom). These puppies were going to be put to sleep anyway, but some people...

Hey, just like any civilized Chinese will tell you, if it has four legs and ain't a table, it's food!
