The movie "Two-Lane Blacktop" from 1971 is a very good example.

It stars Dennis Wilson (Drummer from "Beach Boys"), James Taylor (The folk singer) and Warren Oates (The platoon Sargent from Stripes).

My favorite cult classic is Rocky Horror Picture Show. It never gets old for me!

My dad took me to the rocky horror picture show down in Miami,in 1979 as a cult showing...

Spinal Tap

Pink Floyd's 'The Wall'...I went in sober and came out totally tripping.

I just got the Blu-Ray a couple weeks ago...took them forever to release it...one of my all time favorites, although it is so easy to shred it as you watch it...perfect MST3000 fodder...I am waiting for the 2 sequels to be available on blu-ray...

I try to see it again every few years, as the audience dialog with the movie is always changing.

"Hey Rocky, how'd you get a Smurf to cum on your chest?"

Isn't there a scene where the creature is wearing a wristwatch?

Not in the original...but there are numerous other goofs...IMDB has a good list of them, and I saw a few more...I don't care tho...I love it for the memories of watching it as a kid, and having the glow in the dark model sitting on my dresser, scaring the shit out of me at 6 or 7 years old...

Would The Breakfast Club be considered a cult classic? It's certainly a movie from "my time" and a favorite. My brother and I would come home from school, pop it in the VCR, and recite all the lines with the movie. We thought it was harious. We thought we were hilarious. Our mother was not amused. When we finally got cable tv she would watch the weather channel all day. She got really pissed if you turned it off. She was loony toons!
