it won't work! i got a little vibe called a rock-in but for some reason all it does is light up! help! hhow do i make it work!

Is it a 'pocket rocket' style toy, like this? An Amazon review for it says "when you turn it on you have to push it all the way to open then turn it on to turn it off fully. If not its halfway off and on" - hope this helps!

oh and it says quiet, if that is quiet i do now want to know what loud is...maybe a lawnmower loud????!!!!

It sounds like there's something wrong with the motor. I'd contact the company you bought it from, tell them it lights up but there's obviously something wrong with the motor, and ask for a refund or replacement. Most vibes are not made very well, so it's not unusual for one to be DOA by the time it's shipped from China to a distributor and then on to the customer. Sometimes you just get one that's a dud from the beginning, or it'll die after very minimal use. As long as you report the issue right away, a reputable company will replace it or give you a refund in hopes of earning your repeat business, although they may want like video proof it doesn't work or you to ship it back to them.

Does it work now? It's always worthwhile looking for reviews of toys, as they'll often have tips on how to use them and how quickly they eat through batteries.

Yeah occasionally you will get a defective toy, they will generally just send you a new one free.
