So I'm in love with this beautiful woman that completes me, I have nothing but the best to say about her. However, there's a girl I work with that is so sexy, perfect body, breasts, ass and sweet and can be. What do I do? I love the girl I'm with but this girl is perfect and I can't do anything...

If she 'completes' you- then why do you ask this question?

Ah... the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence...but remember this
once you jump over, don't expect to be able to jump back if you find yourself wishing you had stayed where you were. No woman is perfect, remember that too.

Them's the breaks of our evolutionary heritage. Men are evolutionarily hardwired to want to spread their seed broadly, and helping this is a proclivity to become enamored with the next hot thing that comes along.

The question for you, I guess, is whether you plan to act like a higher primate and inform your decision with logic and reason or act like a chimp.

Some peices of information to inform your decision:

You will lose interest in the hot girl after you posess her, and quickly. If your sole basis for pursuing her is dick appeal, it will only last as long as your dick is happy. Trust me, whatever great intellectual faculty you may be graced with overall, he's not that smart.

You will ruin your relationship with this woman you say you love if you start tail-hopping.

Just a couple of pennies from me.

How to... give up a good thing, and probably pollute a work relationship, for a MAYBE?

Dude... give your head a shake.

File her away in your spank bank and thank the good lord that the woman who 'completes you' doesn't know you're thinking about cheating on her.

If this girl is too much of a distraction, get another job or move to another department.

This isn't a how to. It's a "I wish I was this or that person other than me..."

The girls with perfect bodies and cute faces won't have perfect bodies and cute faces ten years down the line.

I love the girl I'm with but...

Are you willing to break up with this OTHER girl that you “love”?

You use the word CRUSH in the title. Recognize a crush for what it is. It’s an infatuation. It’s exaggerates reality. Your perception of her isn’t realistic and will wear off. Don’t let lust and infatuation cloud your judgment. The following quote reinforces the point.

there's a girl … that is so sexy, perfect body, breasts, ass

That doesn't sound like a well reasoned, thoughful process why you should be reckless with your job and dump/cheat on a girlfriend that you claim that you love.

I'm in love with this beautiful woman that completes me

Flirty smiles from attractive people have made people stupid things for a very long time.

there's a girl I work with that…
Don’t date someone at work. This is bad for a number of reasons. Besides being unprofessional, what do you do if it goes badly?

How married is she?

If she isn't do lunch if she will go and talk to her.

The whole thing may not be a problem.

It does sound like you are not satisfied with the Girlfriend you have now, is this an ongoing problem with you?

Dipping your pen in the company ink is usually a bad idea. You could easily loose the girl and your job.

Ive just been in this situation :( At the end of the day it's never worth it. You can build it up as much as you like and fantasise that it will be amazing but it probably wont be the case, at least not if you want to keep your relationship.

i think the real issue here is that you are in a relationship. while looking at other women is fine, taking it any further would be cheating. even if the two of you just have lunch, you know that you are lusting for the other woman. so it's sort of like emotional cheating in my book. take the time to reassess whether you really want to be in a relationship right now. are you just in one because it's comfortable and convenient? or are you madly in love and content? for you to even be considering cheating, there must be something you aren't getting out of your current relationship (which is not necessarily by fault of your girlfriend or you. some things just don't work out.)

as a side note, relationships/encounters with coworkers are not as doom and gloom as many think. it all depends on the type of workplace you work in. at my job, for example, we are all young 20-somethings who tend to hang out together nearly all the time, even when we aren't working. i have had flings with 5 coworkers over the past 6 years, and nothing horrid ever came out of any of those situations. i'm still great friends with all of them. as long as both parties are mature about it, it can work. plus, i get a little bit of healthy distraction when my current partner walks by ;)

of course, relationships between management personnel are a whole other story...

I was in a relationship when I entered my job a year ago. About 4 months in, a had a new manager started. I fell for him straight away. I transferred to a different site soon after, but he still occupied space in my mind. I visited my old site one night and he and I walked out together, ended up having an hour long conversation in the parking lot, and we finally hooked. It was apparent even then, that not only did he feel the same way, but it was much more than lust.

I cheated on my bf for about 2 months with him, then told my bf everything and moved out, and my lover and I started a relationship together. We got married about two months later and I'm happiest I've ever been.

There is always a flaw.

I have worked with many "hot, attractive women". Lustful daydreams are great, but after some time you will find flaws.

Examples:

Shiela the Paralegal. Model hot, tastful makeup, ice blue eyes ALWAYS smelled amazing. She was dumb as a stick. After she left us we noticed she filed many thing under "T" because the compant name started with "the".

April the Intern. She was a really hot brunette and we could all see her thong when she bent over to file. But she confessed that she was on 3 different mood altering drugs because she could not handle life. She left after she requested an entire month off, was denied, then threw a fit.

Nikki the internal sales hottie. Nikki was amazing: tall, long lucious red hair, perky C cups, but like April she was on multiple drugs for everything from panic attacks to depression. I think she just needed to mix in a healthy diet and exercise.

Moral of the story: they are pretty to look at, but look hard (pun intended), you will see the weeds in the green grass.

*points to the date*

Can we return this oldy, moldy thread to the crypt? Please?

From the FAQ's:

This isn't a commonly asked question, but some advice:

If you want to post to a thread, be sure to check the date of the original post and the date of the last post. The person with five posts who asked for advice back in 2003 and hasn't been heard from since has probably resolved the problem in one way or another by now. This normally won't apply unless you're digging into the older threads.

It's pretty much okay to resurrect an old thread if it ties in with a question/issue that you wish to have addressed or you're updating one of your own threads.
