"CRT Isn't Being Taught"

.
This is where Pud fails.

Teaching about America's racist history IS basically teaching "CRT".

If a teacher can include the Tulsa massacre and the 1950's FHA program as topics for study, and then teaches the connection between those institutionally racist white majority acts, and the current gross disparity between black and white Americans, then the truth still wins.

CRT is just a political bogeyman.

*nods*

CRT isn't history. This is your failure. It's politics. There isn't any truly critical thinking in CRT, and it isn't even a theory, if by "theory" you mean a set of ideas that can be put to the test to see if they stand up under examination.

We are told over and over that it's simply not a legitimate exercise to even question, much less test, CRT, and those that do are racists. That tracks with religions and their heretics much more than with objective theory.

We are told that? Who’s we, and who’s doing the telling?

It's more an exercise in legal/policy analysis....wouldn't call it history at all. But also wouldn't conflate it with everything Trumpy's have combined with it.

And the "analysis" consists of finding the racism in every act and policy, even where none existed. That's the base assumption of CRT that is not subject to examination: That the US is irredeemably racist and every act and institution is racist and should be viewed through the lens of race.

It's garbage.

yes, it's meant to be an exercise in re-examining existing policy and law through a racial lens.

And you dipshits have just thrown every other PC race/diversity thing you hate into the same bucket and called it CRT.

Because the DIE religion (Diversity, Inclusion and Equity) are all part of CRT, especially Equity. The presumptions behind Equity are so ludicrous as to cause outright laughter.

Right, so because CRT includes similar concepts, then they are all the same thing.

Except they're not. CRT talks policy and law.

Dear lord, that is the worst comparison.

HISTORY is not belief.

You just rolled this thread off the rails.

This guy thinks CRT and Marxism are both religions , not I.

I was just trying to work within his strange paradigms

Yes, I know...you went for his trigger. It's not difficult...though impressively, this is the first CRT post I've seen in quite some time. Fox must be bored with the Covid stories.

I'm sure "Kendi, DiAngelo, and Delgado" appreciate Deplorables like Pud constantly bringing their theories up for discussion.

Pud is making them rich.

Well played Pud.......f you're intention was to play yourself.

It makes me sick seeing those racist college professors making millions teaching Americans to be racist.

so?

Americans have a constitutional right to make money in a capitalist system. It's our fundamental freedoms that our Founding Fathers and Framers fortuitously fought for fruitfully.

If you don't like the freedoms of America, you can go right back to Russia and suck Kim Jong's Vlassic pickle, you neo-Maoist Marxist-adjacent communistic traitor!:mad::mad:

Right, so because CRT includes similar concepts, then they are all the same thing.

Except they're not. CRT talks policy and law.

CRT teaches that all white people are racist and that racism is systemic in America. Those are its axioms, its precepts. They are not up for discussion. They are givens. And they are garbage.

From there CRT asserts that since all institutions are shot through with racism - for which they have no evidence, I might add - they must be destroyed and replaced with...something. Something Marxist, no doubt, given the pedigree of the religion.

CRT is another attempt at westernizing marxism, another marxist revolution, revitalizing past failed attempts led by modern western marxist elites, it's an attempt at bringing to the forefront a new and improved version which is still a wolf in sheep's clothing. It hides behind exposing policies, laws and the american dream as equity deficient. CRT iis built on the theory of class warfare, details in the fact of equity over equality and is antithetical to our system of governance. A pig is still a pig even with lipstick. Typical marxist MO is to promote marxist ideology amongst the middle class dividing sectors of the middle class into separate entities mostly by racial lines pitting one class against another using slogans such as equity, racism to weaken social structures in the name of equity. it's an attempt to destroy current cultures and laws to promote an elite class to rule the proletariat completely dismembering our bill of rights, taking away individual rights while establishing absolute power to an elite class and centralized government. When you hear equity red flags should go off in your head. It's another word for redistribution of wealth, and we all know what ideology that is.

And they can't teach that in schools, either.

CRT is a religion, with all the trappings of one. So it's not welcome in a school teaching secular facts.

Lol, no it isn't. Your assertions are becoming more comical by the minute.

RobDownSouth's sig line is a link to an article that perfectly illustrates how Deplorables like Pud and BoBo "debate".

It's a remarkably insightful read.

Its premises are unsupported and not questionable. That isn't an academic theory, it's a religion. And heretics who call into question these Articles of the Faith are denounced as white supremacists and racists.

What is belief unsupported by actual evidence if not religion? Unbelievers are even urged to "see" racism where none exists, like an Unholy Spirit hovering over everything.

Critical Race Theory is fast becoming America’s social behavioral rule, generally accepted theory, taught in schools. White guilt is “insulting” because it’s premised on the racist notion that black people can’t achieve anything on their own and constantly need the help of liberal “white saviors.” Robert Woodson said, “The left has cleverly weaponized the race card to attack and silence its political opponents in order to control the black community — and the black vote.”

To be a racist politician is to adopt an agenda that favors one racial group over another, that’s what ‘Critical Race Theory’ does, promotes racism. Slavery is not an experience that is unique to black Americans. Every race was enslaved at some point. But the left constantly shrieks about an institution that a white Republican president ended over 150 years ago.

Black slavery exists today in the Middle East and Africa but there’s no left-wing or media outrage over actual systemic racism. Why? “Because there is no money to be made denouncing it and no political advantages to be gained,” Sowell

Equity as promoted by radical Democrats is little more than reformulated Marxism. Critical race theorist, Cheryl Harris, proposed the creation of a Federal Department of Antiracism. To nullify, veto, or abolish any law at any level of government and curtail the speech of political leaders and others who are deemed insufficiently “antiracist.”

CRT is a dangerous ideology that teaches racism and is rooted in Marxism. School Boards should vote no.
