Crimson night.

Dain:

"Lilly..." That was all he could say, his cold breath against her neck, her hot pulse echoing through his body, he was nearly unable to pull away. "I... I..." He somehow wrenched himself free of her and was suddenly gone, the stillness of the empty changing room a stark contrast to his presence.

Lilly felt the emptiness in the room as he vanished into the shadows, and she wondered at just how strong her connection to him really was. After removing her makeup, and changing her clothing, she slipped out the back door and headed for home. It was odd that she was begining to feel so comfortable with the night, and the shadows. They were almost begining to feel like home to her, and that thought left her a little unnerved.

back in her apartment, Lilly showered and changed into her favorite night gown, stepping out onto the balcony to watch the night, and await the one she knew would come.

A Newcomer....or perhaps not?

It didn't take much for her to come to realize that there was something going on once more in the mortal realms that might need her attentions. She could feel the lust and the desire burning..hear the cries of passion in her mind, ringing clear as a bell upon a cold night. She lifts her head from her satin pillows, dark violet eyes coming to drift open as the Dark Queen's slumber is broken..her dreams set aside for the promise of a real encounter.

Oh, it has been so long..so long indeed, since she has prayed upon a mortal. She has slumbered deeply, quietly dreaming her way through countless millenia. Her dreams have been those of lust...transparent passions that make her sweat and moan in the middle of the night. Her restless slumber has been felt in the minds of all mortals, at some point in time or another. Her quiet moans bring erotic visions..dark secrets to the surface of the dreamer's mind. Some can only barely remember what they've dreamt, when they awake the next morning...but one thing is always certain: Their erotic dreams and sexual visions always stem from one source they have no clear knowledge or understanding of.

The Dark Lady herself.

Her dreams are those visions that haunt you and I in the middle of the night...those lustful scenes that we imagine while we sleep. Those passionate images of the object of our desires and affections that come to us while we lay in repose. But for tonight, the Lady awakens...her dreams and visions ceasing for the time being while she rouses herself to satiate some of her more darker desires. Her body aches for sexual pleasures..both those dealt and those received. Knows what she wants..and has no doubt in her mind as to how to get it. This night, then..she rises from her bed...and begins to make ready for her first night out in many long, restless years.

OOC: Not to be rude Lilith, but Moonlight and I wish to keep this thread between the two of us... I hope you understand.

Dain:

Stalking through the dark streets, Dain's stomach ached. It was like a dagger twisting about within him. Cutting and cleaving its way out. He stumbled into an allyway. His vision cloudy, he saw things blur and shift, the hunger pangs were so strong. He heard a belch, and caught sight of a grey haired, dirty faced man, laying amongst the filth of the ally, a bottle of liqoure in his hand. "ay yous looks trrahbuhl thar missah..." The man slurred as he took a long draw on the bottle. Holding it out to arms length, the man looked at it. It was half full. His brow knotted for a moment, as though he were considering something. Turning his head loosely toward Dain, the man spoke again, after having made up his mind. "Yous wants a drnk?" He asked with a rotten grin. Pain on his face, Dain choked out his reply. "Yes, please." And with that, the animal took him over, launching him at the man, compelled by his dark hunger. The man didn't even scream, just tenced as he felt Dain's fangs strike home, shook a little as Dain fed, then fell limp and still when he was done.

Wiping his lips clean, Dain frowned to himself, getting to his feet, he trudged from the allyway. The alcohol didn't strike him until he was within eyeshot of Lilly's home. He looked up at her from the concealing darkness, she was in a night gown, radiant standing above him. "My angel..." He thought to himself as he slipped into the light.

OOC: My apologies..but one would think that if you wished to keep the post private between yourself and another, you would denote such somewhere within said post. Not that I am complaining, but it would have saved me the hassle as well as the waste of time, putting in a post to a thread which does not invite the input of others. It's a shame, too. I was hoping on adding a certain spice to the thread. But as wished, I will make no further posts henceforth.

Lilly felt Dain before she saw him, and as he imerged into the soft glow of the street light, she knew at once that something was not quite right. He looked hurt, or drunk?

Not stopping to grab a coat, Lilly ran for the door, making her way quickly to the street, and to the side of the one she loved. His skin was warm to the touch, and his face was bright with color. If she had not known better, she would have thought him as normal as any man who'd had a few to many. Slipping his arm about her neck, she aided him across the street and up the stairs to her apartment.

"Dain. Dain my love, are you alright?" She set him down on the sofa and lifted his chin, looking deep into his eyes, feeling his soul pulling her deeper in, and losing herself to the sensation. All thoughts were lost, except for the knowing that this man, this creature of the night, ment more to her now than life it's self, and she would give anything to be with him eternaly, even her very life.

Dain:

"Ah, lil..." Dain reached out and caressed her cheek with a far too warm of a hand for a dead man.. He breathes shallowly, it was obvious that he was drunk upon something strong, though the only thing anyone could hope to sence upon his breath was the coppery scent of blood... He was weak, fragile to Lilly's hands at the moment... He had never been so weak before... He craved the taste of her blood, it would make him whole, but if he took a taste of her now, he knew he could not stop, which was one of the reasons he saught unconciousness in the thrall of alchohal this night... If he could ignore the call of his loves sweet blood, she would live, and he would too... He knew his desire was too great... It was his curse. If it waned and she kept him near as a lover would... He would be saved...

Lilly could sense the pain and anguish within him. To love one another, to be together, would always bring pain, but to be apart would produce a pain far worse than either of them could ever hope to endure.

Slowly she left his side, watching as he lay back on the sofa and slept. The night was already moving into the early hours of morning, and Lilly could feel her own body crying out for rest. She covered him with a blanket, not for the cold, but to keep him safe from any stray ray of sunlight that might filter in come morning. She closed the windows, and the drapes, hanging blankets over any window that had a less then covering curtain. WIthin her apartment now was darkness, inky blackness that seemed to devour her, yet welcome her in the same heart beat.

As her love slept, she made her way to her own bed, and surendered to sleep.

It was no easy task keeping her apartment quiet and dark during the day, as Dain slept, but Lilly knew the consequences of waking him before the sun had set, and she would do what ever it took to see him safe. she slept much of the day herself, and as night fell over the city, she pulled the blankets from the windows. The cool night air was a welcome reliefe after the stifeling heat of her closed apartment, and the moonlight that filtered through the tree tops bathed the street in a silky glow. Behind her, she could hear Dain, and knew that it was time for her beloved to awake.

Returning to his side, she gave him a cheeky smile, "Did you know that you snore?"

Dain:

Opening his eyes, Dain reached out and ran his hand along Lilly's thigh. He smiled softly at her joke. He sat up and rubbed his brow. "You have to breath to snore my sweet." He joked back.

Looking up into her eyes his smile grew and before she could speak he stole a kiss from her lips.

Lilly's heart raced as his cool lips pressed against hers. Just being close to him gave her a thrill far more exciting then any she had ever experienced, and knowing that he wanted her, thrilled her all the more. As he pulled her to him, her body melted against him, their kiss never ending. With a shrug, her nightgown fell away and her naked body found a new home in his strong and loving arms.

Dain:

The heavy thrum of Lilly's blood coursing through her aroused Dain. The heat of her body was a lush wonderous sensation against his cool skin. Without thinking, the sharp point of his fang drew across Lilly's lip, opening it. She winced against his kiss but he held her to him too tightly for her to pull away. And in a moment, the wound radiated with pleasure, the only thing she could use to discribe it was that it was like an orgasm, the pleasure of it was that intence. He captured her bottom lip between his own and nursed the wound with his tongue, drinking only a drop from her before the wound was sealed and he drew away, he was gasping as his eyes locked with hers, then he turned his eyes away, casting them down, resting his head against her shoulder, still breathing heavily, excitedly. "Lilly, help me..." He groaned in frustration. He was torn, so torn, he wanted to drink of her and never stop, but knew he must not.

Lilly pulled away for a moment, looking into his face, and the anguish she saw there. The time was drawing close for them to make a choice, and they both knew it. getting to her feet, she slipped her nightgown back on, and walked part way across the room. She concidered him for a moment. A man, a creature, so strong, almost invincible to most accounts, and here he sat, all but crippled by his love for her. had she been unfeeling, she would have walked away from his weakness, but she could not, for she loved him more than life, and feared losing him more than death. Tonight was her last performance in this town, tomorrow the movers would be there and she would be on her way to a new life, but would it be a life worth living without him?

"Dain, my love, you need to feed, and if you can not bear to feed from me, then you must seek out another. I must get ready to leave for the theatre. Tonight, after the show, we must talk, for the dawn will bring changes, and choices." she lifted his face to hers and brushed her lips against his in the tenderest of kisses. "I love you Dain, more then i can tell you, but after tonight, things will change, and i'll not see you suffer for the love of me. We must choose my love. Both of us." She held him close for just a moment longer, then headed for the bathroom, and a much needed cold shower.

Dain:

Sitting at the edge of lilly's bed for a moment as he watched her disapear into the bathroom, he thought. "We must make a choice..." She had said... A moment passed as he thought about her words, then he stood and walked into the bath, slipping in behind Lilly silently, she did not sence him there until he touched her and she jumped but his touch was some how soothing to her, his hand ran along her hip, as he pressed in against her body, his other slipped past her and turned the hot water up. His mouth found her neck, and he kissed her. "Lil, my love, you say we must make a choice, and I have..." He whispered darkly in her ear. His knife like fangs grazed her flesh, opening it up with a sting, as they always did, and he lapped the wound away, to the same effect as what he had caused before. He slowly turned her to face him in his arms and looked her deeply in the eyes. "I... I must feed... And I want only to feed upon you... I... I am strong..." He murmered as he bowed his head to her breast, his fangs opening the slightest of wounds across her oreola, he suckled it for a breif moment then lapped it away, the pleasure radiating through the flesh of her breast as he did nearly made her knees give way beneith her.

As he drew blood from her breast, feasting upon her life, everything she knew and loved was gone from her mind, everything but him. the sound of her heardbeat pounded in her ears, a drum that grew louder and louder with every pulse of her heart. The pleasure that surged through her body was almost more then she could endure. Reaching between them, she found the front of his trousers, and funbeling with the zip, she found him erect and hard.
His hands found the rounded cheeks of her ass, lifting her up and pushing her hard against the wall. She wrapped her legs around his middle, and with one hard thrust, he was deep within her hot depths. Again and again he drove his manhood into her as he licked and sucked the crimson honey from the wound on her breast.
Her body was on fire, ripped back and forward between pleasure and pain in a ride she never wanted to end.

Dain:

His steel hardness pounded into Lilly ceaslessly, giving her the wild carnal ravishment her mortal heart understood, while the he bit and nipped mark after mark into her breasts, neck, lips, shoulders, where ever his mouth found its way, drinking only a drop of her sweet blood before sealing the wounds over with hungry laps of his tongue.

Within minutes her chest, her shoulders, her neck, her lips, they all felt the deep radiating pleasure of what she could only comprehend as orgasmic. Her mind was swirling, she didn't even realize when he'd withdrawn his cock from her wet, seeping sex...

He slid down to his knees, his lips crimson with traces of her blood, and he continued to graze little wounds all over her, they trailed down her stomach, her hip, her thigh, then they slowly centered in toward her pussy. The swirling sensation she felt was turning to a faint feeling, her breath came out in short, shallow gasps. The pleasure was too much, it was consuming her. It radiated through her every limb, and now, as he knelt before her, it became focused upon her sex. Dain moaned greedily as he feasted upon her...

Lilly:

Lilly opened herself up to Dain's hunger, wanting nothing more than to be consumed by him, body and soul. Her body burned, ached. Every tiny graze upon her soft flesh stung with pleasure and pain, her instincts giving way to her desires, and her needs were without boundries.

As he moved closer to her aching pussy, she wrapped her legs about his sholders, pulling his face hard against her tender lips.
"Eat me Dain, swallow me, devour me, make me a part of you." Her fingers gripped the shower door and the curtains, reaching for any kind of suport as her body began to waver.

Her clit throbbed, then burned as his fangs found their mark, and as she felt her world slipping away, all she could think of was..."Eat me my love, make me yours..........."

Dain:

Doing just as Lilly pleaded, Dain drank wildly of the blood seeping from her wounded clit, and pussy, lapping her tender flesh back to wholeness. Her body quaked as she struggled to stay above the washing tides of Dain's dark pleasures. Finally her strength gave way and she fainted with a squeeking gasp, collapsing against him. The solid weight of her limp form sparked something within him and he wrenched himself away from her, gasping hungerly as he licked his lips. She lay against the showers tiled wall, unconcious and pale from lack of blood. The shower's hot water poured over her body as he closed his eyes and lowered his head, and wept.

*Later on in the night*

Dain had come to his sences, the blood within him mocking him and his weekness as he stared down upon his lover, sleeping silently next to him in her bed. He'd lifted her from the shower, slowly, lovingly dried her off and placed her, naked, in bed, drawing her covers tightly about her, to keep her warm. "She still breathes, the transformation should not take her from me..." He reasoned to himself, trying to push away the guilt he was feeling.

As Lilly rested at Dain's side, a slumber far deeper than sleep, time slipped past, and others noticed Lilly's absence.

A heavy knocking on the door startled the thinking Dain back to reality.

"Lilly. Lilly are you in there?" It was the stage manager from the theatre. They all knew that Lilly would have never missed a performance, especialy one where she was the star, and when she had not shown for the show, they had become more then a little worried. "LILLY!!" there was a muttered conversation, and then ... "To hell with security, break down the damn door." With a crash, the large man known as Lou, came crashing through the door and landed in the middle of the living room.

Dain places a quick kiss upon Lilly's pale cheek, and vanished into the shadows, out of sight, but never far away. Lou and the other made a quick check of Lilly's apartment, turning on the bedroom light and discovering the week and frail Lilly.

"She's alive, but only just. Call an ambulance fast, this does not look good."

*At the hospital*

Doctors raced in all directions, and it seemed to Lou that one would never never come to tend Lilly. At last one did. A young doctor called Steven Price. As he examined the unconcios Lilly, his face showed grave concern.

"She's in a coma, and needs blood badly. Anyone know how she managed to lose so much blood?"

The faces about him were as blank as the look in Lilly's eyes. The blood arived, and as he placed the drip in her arm, and the first drops of blood entered her veins, something within Lilly stired, and changed. In her mind she screamed for the only one who could help her now...she called for Dain.........

Dain:

Lilly's wordless cry for him was heard, and it drew him to her. He was milling about in the hospital lobby, keeping to himself until he felt the call. No one had noticed him, not when he wished them not to.. Now he walked up to the receptionist. "I am here to see Lilly Anne White..." The receptionist looked up at him, pursing her lips. "She's in crittical condition sir, you're going to..." Dain leaned toward her, staring her in the eyes. "I'm her brother. I want to see her now." He said softly. The woman's lips parted slightly as he spoke, then she swallowed softly. "Oh, y-you're family, than I guess its alright... Room 306 sir..." She said, her voice shaking ever so slightly. Dain pushed back from the desk. "Thank you..." He looked down at her shirt and the name tag pinned to it. "Sherry." The receptionist could only nod as Dain turned and rushed down the hall, making his way to Lilly's room.

He pushed through the doors, startling everyone in the room, save for Lilly. He paused for a moment, then went to her side, a doctor made to stop him but with a simple look he stopped, and looked at the clip board in his hands. It contained Lilly's information.

Lilly felt the presence of Dain before he even entered the room, even deep within her coma she could feel him. Ever drop of blood that dripped into her veins was like acid, burning into her soul. Her body needed blood, demanded it, and every drop it was given made it scream for more. Every drop it was fed, made it hunger for more. Deep within, Lilly screamed. She screamed in pleasure, in pain, in hunger and in relief. By giving her blood, Doctor Price had set in motion something none but Dain could complete, or comprehend.

Deep inside her mind, Lilly fought for control of her self. There was more to her now, a deeper side of life, of death, of being complete, and in balance with what she loved most. Somewhere in the mist of her mind, she found him. Without a moment of hesitation, she ran to him, embracing him with all that was left of her.

"Dain. What's happening to me? It hurts so bad, yet it feels so wonderful. Am I dead? Is this heaven?" She was even more confused when she saw the pain in his eyes. "Dain?"

*Back in the room*

Doctor Price struggled for a measure of control over his mind. Something didn't feel right, and his concern for his patient called to him. Shaking his head to clear his mind, he focused back on the stranger that now stood beside his gravely ill patient. There was somehting about this woman, something strange and diferant, something that nagged at the back of his mind like a distant memory, something that pulled at him. There was more to her, and he knew it.

"Gentleman, I am going to have to ask you all to leave. This woman needs immediate care, and rest, so unless you have information that will help here, I must insist you all leave at once."

Lou and the other man from the theatre mumbled something about stopping a moving van, and feeding a cat, then left the room, leaving Doctor Price, and Dain staring at one another. Even this dark stranger seemed a little familiar to Doctor Steve Price, if only he could put his finger on it. Lilly moaned and shifted a little in her struggle with life, bringing both men back to her once again.

Lilly felt a cool touch, and a warm one, and two soft voices that whispered her name, "Lilly"

Dain:

The moment the two of them had spoken Lilly's name in unison, Dain lifted his gaze up to stare at the doctor. He still held Lilly's hand gently. "Doctor, please, can you just... Give me a moment to talk to her... Alone?" Dain asked as he looked back down toward Lilly, reaching up to caress her cheek.

Lilly:

Lilly looked to Dain at the sound of the other voice in her mind, a voice she seemed to know. "Dain?"

Doctor Price hesitated in allowing this man to be alone with her, but he felt some how compelled to comply with this mans wishes, no matter how much it disturbed him. "Alright, but only a few moments, she needs to rest." As an after thought, he stopped in the doorway and glanced back at Dain, "I'll be right outside." It was as much a warning as a comforting gesture."

Dain:

"Thank you doctor." Dain said softly as he knelt at Lilly's side. Once the man was out of the room, Dain leaned close to Lilly's ear. "Lilly... You must not stay here..." His voice was nervous. He heard the doctor shift outside the door and hesitated, then continued. "Lilly this place will do you no good... F... Forgive me..." He whispered as he leaned toward her lips, peircing his own with a fang. A small drip of blood fell onto her lips as he pressed his to hers. A gentle kiss massaged the dark blood into her lips. He pulled away just before the doctor walked back in, and simply sat at Lilly's side, holding her hand as a brother would.

Lilly:

As the drop of Dain's blood penetrated her lips, and made it's way into her body, Lilly's body was set on fire. In her mind, Dain began to fade. "Dain? What place? Where am I?" Around her, things began to take shape, the mist parted and solid forms filled the space. A door, a wall, machines, and two figures. As they became clearer, she knew one right away, the other tugged at her memory, but she was to weak to focus her mind.

A soft moan escaped her lips as she slowly came back to reality. A man was at her side, his fingers pressed to her wrist, his eyes on his watch. "Lilly, I'm Doctor Price. How are you feeling?"

Lilly was totaly confused. Dain and a Doctor in the same room? "Doctor Price?" She looked to Dain, but his face seemed cloaked, emotionless. "What am i doing here?" As the Doctor explained her condition to her, Lilly began to understand more fully the situation, but there was still so many things she didn't know, and only Dain had those answers for her. But would he give them to her? She felt so tired, so exhausted. As the doctor talked, she slipped back into the arms of sleep, and outside, the dawn aproached.
