Dan Crenshaw and his staff were violently confronted at the Republican Party of Texas convention a short time ago, when far-right social media activist Alex Stein and others whom witnesses described as Proud Boys began shouting “eyepatch McCain” at him – an attempted insult coined by Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson.

Update – 4 pm:
Another Twitter user posted video of himself verbally accosting Rep. Crenshaw. There is no apparent shoving in the clip, but after shouting at the congressman, the user Alex Rosen shouts at various people in the hotel calling the congressman a “fraud” and a “World Economic Forum sell-out.” Another person applauds and shouts back that Crenshaw supports Red Flag laws.

In the video, Rosen also yells at an elderly woman that she is the “reason we’re in this situation” after she objects to his behavior.

from now on, i think 'angry little boys' is what i'll use instead of proud boys. crenshaw's a dick, whose politics i do not agree with, but he's coined the perfect name for them.

this is the thing, isn't it? for all those who tacitly backed trump's encouragement of extremism by staying quiet, or even hopping onto the bandwagon with a few comments themselves agreeing with the stance, they're now realising they've created a monster. And the monster needs feeding by more and more outrageous utterances from the likes of mtg, gaetz, boebert, jordan, cruz... when the less extreme aren't feeding the monster, it turns on them and then they are surprised.
 
Stone and Bannon have a contemptuous history when it comes to legal trouble. Stone, Filipkowski alleged, blames Bannon's testimony partly for his own prosecution and conviction in 2019. Stone was convicted of obstruction, making false statements to Congress, and witness tampering in relation to Robert Mueller's investigation of the Trump campaign.

How the fuck is burning down pro-life organization buildings and offices okay, or the attempted assassination of a SC Justice, or the outright threatening of Justice Barrett's children okay when it's done by the Left? Get real, there is no comparison.

McCain's war record was for what happened in the Vietnam War. When he helped to initiate the illegal conspiracy against Donald Trump he cashed in those bona fides. After which, to conservatives, he became a political Alfred Dreyfus who figuratively stripped him of his honors, his rank, slapped off his cap, and broke his sword. He was cashiered and cast from within their midst to become a pariah, to be loved only by the Swamp and the corrupt but thankful Democrat Party.

“Oh, I am smart, because you’re a globalist,” Stein cut him off. “You do more for Ukraine than you do for America. Remember how Trump made fun of your wife and you go become best friends with Trump?”

Stein went on to call Cruz “a coward,” and added, “you care more about the border between Ukraine and Russia than you care about the border between Texas and Mexico.” Stein was pulled away shortly after that as he continued to bash Cruz as a “a globalist, a coward, and a liar.”

“When people were freezing and dying, you were in Cancun, Mexico. Remember that?” Stein said as security moved him away from the senator. “You remember when you were at the all-inclusive buffet while people were freezing? You remember that, Ted?”

In the advertisement, released Monday morning, former Missouri Governor Greitens totes a firearm and says he's going "RINO hunting," for his political opponents and approaches a house with the label "THE RINO's DEN."

The video advertisement then depicts people dressed as military operatives raiding the house with Greitens saying, "Join the MAGA crew, get a RINO hunting permit. There's no bagging limit, no tagging limit, and it doesn't expire until we save our country."

On Monday, Twitter had flagged the Greitens advertisement, saying it violated the Twitter Rules about abusive behavior. Users cannot share or like the tweet, but they can still access it via Greitens' account, as Twitter considered the tweet "may be in the public's interest."
