Get 'go to jail' card.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha haaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

Sorry about this but I a distant aquaintance's husband got carted off to jail for a long time, last night.

I only feel partly sorry for her, and it is only because of the children . She knew who he was long before she married him.... Yeah, back when she was pregnant with the first baby that she claimed was his, but this was after she had been with 5-7 different guys including him, in a stretch of 5 months or so, while he was off fucking other girls and doing Coke and Meth.

There are some real winners out there.

Come on... share. I know you have a story like this. I know you are, were or know a drug addict that did insane shit to only end up in and out of jail for thier stupidity. Share with me?

I need a good laugh.

Well if you count my stepfather, who dropped his empty coke bags on the living room floor, blamed it on me and got me kicked out of the house when I was 16? I lived on and off with friends from school until their parents, half of who were either poor or on drugs themselves asked me to leave cause they couldn't afford me, and my mother wouldn't sign my work papers, until I found someone who would pay me under the table and rent an apartment to a 17 year old kid.

The same stepfather who when I was 20, stole my 10 year old brother, 12 year old stepsister and 1 year old sister (Both girls were HIS kids) Christmas gifts from under the tree christmas eve and I had to go shopping at two o'clock in the morning so they'd wake up to presents. All for 20 dollars worth of crack and some beer.

The same stepfather who threw bricks in the window at my mother, who was in bed with the baby, and she called me instead of the cops and I had to beat the shit out of him to get him off of her. All because he was snorting coke and getting drunk that night.

Are you still laughing?

(((((hugs))))))

Not a pretty picture, Angel :(

You're lucky that you escaped the madness ... it was a hard start at independence for you, but look how strong you are now.

Don't keep looking back, hon ... might be better for you to move on elsewhere? (afraid that you will always be dragged into messes)

Your mother is the one responsible for herself and the little ones ... not you. Very unfair of her to depend on you to solve their problems. Get on with your life.

The most loving thing you can do for your mother at this point, is to detach yourself from her. When you stop being her enabler, she will have to make some tough decisions and stick with them.

No, not anymore. I hope you realized that I wasn't really asking for this kind of story, but more like that of a distanced/ detached situation where the only ones fucked over are those who deserve it, but I guess that the majority of situations are more like this.

I am glad you told us. I had no idea you'd been through that. That is truly aweful. It is really so sad when innocent people get fucked by drug addicts.

((((((((((((((((((Angel))))))))))))))))))))))

I have been around junkies for over 9 years now. It is really hard to watch what they do to themselves. It is more difficult to watch what they do to their families.

Please don't misinterpret my thread, for that of indifference. If you knew the people I was referring to, you'd laugh too.
What's more, I really started this because I feel it is high time that the piece of shit gets sent to jail for a long time. He is not a good person.

I know you didn't mean it that way. Stupid shit just triggers my mouth (Fingers?) Ignore my random outburts, you know I adore you.

You know, I don't consider that an outburst.

This is the kind of thing I need to know about my friends. (The real ones that is). I feel all the more like i know where you are coming from now. It is also important for you to get it out when it bothers you, as it can be expected to. That is why it is called traumatic. It stays with you. No matter how hard you try to get it out of your system.

I am glad that I can call you my friend Angel. You are a gem and a truly strong woman. :rose:
