When we moved to NYC in 97, our friends who love art, took us to a gallery and we met this incredible artist.
Not sure how, but must have caught his eye and he contacted me.
Asking if he could make a portrait of me for his gallery.
Not for sale. But if I would say yes, he would make a pencil drawing of our daughter and the cats.
Of course I said yesssss.
So here young me.
And a bad webcam pic of the drawing we got from him.

I love the canvas look on them, of course, the subject matter is a big part as well! Well, that and just the though of Em & Sue together.... Just saying! :D

Thanks Jessica, great shots...but I am partial to the B&W myself. Great shot as always young lady, especially when your doing yourself....so to speak! :p Of course, I'm sure you would have a line of people offering their photographic services!

I continue to be amazed at the quality of pics that are being posted on the thread! I was hoping to get some nice B&W's...maybe some with a little color splash here and there, BUT WOW!!!

I NEVER would have expected such amazing work. It is a pure pleasure to come back and go through all of the latest creations that are being posted. I will work to get them all linked in the main thread, will just take some time given my work schedule lately.

Also, Mrs G sent me some amazing shots last night to keep me company while on the road. I can't wait to get home to share them here!

Have a great weekend everyone and I'll try to get some loaded tomorrow night.
