How do you create animated gif's? Do you need a special program? I'd love to do some but don't know how. Help!

Yes, you need an animation program to create animated GIF's

There is a site called GIFWorks that will alloow you to create and edit animated gifs, but I don't have the URL handy.

JASC Software has trial version of Animation Shop -- it works with Paint Shop Pro -- at www.jasc.com that does a fair job with animated gifs but it's only good for thirty days before you have to shell out the money for a registered version.

A google search for "animation software" should turn up lots of other options.
