Crazy Wisdom

Since sorrow never comes too late, and happiness too swiftly flies.

If you are patient in one moment of anger, you will escape a hundred days of sorrow.

It's normal to need a break every now and then, so stop pressuring yourself and take a breather.
Means watching the sunset with all your communication devices turned off.

"If nothing happened, if nothing changed, time would stop. For time is nothing but change. It is change we see occurring all around us, not time. In fact, time doesn't exist."

**************************************************

Edited to add.... As ol' Albert Einstein once said.... time does not exist in the conventional sense, the distinction between the past, the present, and the future is only an illusion.

Things do not become, they have not been, and they will not be, they simply are............ time is like space.

"The tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon, but that we wait so long to begin it."

“Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life.
Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking.
Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice.
And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.
They somehow already know what you truly want to become.
Everything else is secondary.”

~ Steve Jobs ~

Life is a process of becoming, a combination of states we have to go through.
Where people fail is that they wish to elect a state and remain in it.
This is a kind of death.

As my ol' role model once said.... and I paraphrase...

Reality is merely an illusion:
albeit a very persistant one.

Love never dies a natural death.
It dies because we don't know how to replenish its source.
It dies of blindness and errors and betrayals.
It dies of illness and wounds;
it dies of weariness, of witherings, of tarnishings.

~ Anais Nin ~

If a man does not keep pace with his companions,
perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer.
Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away.

~ Henry David Thoreau ~

“I feel the same way about solitude as some people feel about the blessing of the church.
It's the light of grace for me.
I never close my door behind me without the awareness that I am carrying out an act of mercy toward myself.”

~ Peter Hoeg ~
