"In order to turn the mind toward the positive, inner work and training are required. Attitude and thoughts do not change overnight."

It takes a lifetime kiddo.

In life we get what we ask for.
When we are not conscious, then we are like most people and use this power to create a negative life. We have negative thoughts and get negative results.

indifference, is the child of the marriage of Love to Hate
HATE is a havey word, I don't use it offen.... hell, I don't use it at all...

 How exactly does that work?

to feel Hate... one first must have at 1 time felt for the object.

Love and Hate being opposites attracted.

and when they left for their seperate paths.

spawned Indifference.

which is worse?

well I am sorry to say there are a few things, I do have hatred for.

but this is the sum total of my experiences so far on the path.

but I also have many things I am indifferent about.... and indifference is far more hurtful to all of us.

now I will ponder this all day.

maybe not change but ponder I will , I will.

I will too, pondering around, I guess, somehow, I must have blocked it off my memories....somewhere...

I have pondered all day on indifference.

and still think it is worse than Hate or Love .

Crazy.. maybe, maybe, maybe

Why is it so difficult (if not impossible) to explain feelings in terms of function?
How does the mental fit into the physical world causally?
I'm very reluctant to equate emotions with feelings. Emotions can be felt, of course, but they need not be.
Thinking thoughts, experiencing mental states when, in reality, there's nobody home.
Sometimes different emotions can feel the same, and same emotions can feel different.
Allowing unconscious emotions may have some advantages. But that will all just be on the fine-tuning of anger/fear/hatred/jealousy, not the felt/unfelt distinction...

Indifference, its anothe state of mind, don't you think?

the mind rules in emotions.. it dictates the levels.

and each will react differently to the same thing.

I agree unconscious feelings we have trouble dealing with the most... and that is where confusion rules.

so is not indifferent the real way to be?

it is not such a bad state of mind I think... I just wish I could be that way more...

deep words lady Pepper you have.

I can relate to this...

I am always new and yet the same.
