Yours may not be, mine were.
Out of the several dozen lesbians i either know or have known, none even come close to what JB is trying to pass off as a Lesbian.

I know squat about lesbians tho I know many and had many for clients and bosses.
I don't read lesbian stories, as a rule, but I'm reading a few at the moment.
What I read seems different from what I experience IRL. That is, modern lesbian tales seem to depict Heaven when real lesbian life is the suburbs of Hell. The lesbians I know aren't happy campers. Theyre cotton candy wrappers blown about the carnival grounds. Some real crazy muthas.
I just read an old James Ellroy novel featuring some lesbians. A serial killer is stalking one of the girls, and stumbles over her lesbian ways by accident. That is, the serial killer collects masses of info about his victims before he destroys them. What he has for the lesbian isn't happy-gram stuff. His mission is to end human suffering.
So tell me about lesbians. I wanna add a lesbian character to my noire stable.
Fictional lesbian erotica is for guys (like me, i love it!) It's visual, and we love women, and they are pretty and sexy and there's two (or more) of them, they all like men too and they'll invite us to join in later. And they are being paid to perform so hopefully we buy the movie or read the story.
From what I've seen, real lesbian sex is very different. It's an unselfish act, each pleasing the other to orgasm, making sure it happens even if it takes hours of fingering, and even if it's from a bad camera angle! Shocking, i know..
From the typical male perspective, that's not what we want the fantasy to be. So, I choose to keep pretending. Because after I'm finished watching, I get to join in! Yaaay!
I suspect female readers prefer crazy lezzie coeds as much as guys.

"Lipstick lesbians" are the exceptionally pretty pairs you see in porn videos. Both my lesbian friends have admitted to liking them - very little not to like, they're often prettier than what lands in girl/guy porn, and the better videos have a little glam - but they've assured that reality looks nothing like that. Color me unsurprised.
This thread would be improved by an actual lesbian or three. I'm going to be a little surprised if there aren't some here...

The bold is mine. Fictional lesbian erotica may be but for real lesbians, the dangly bits are a big no no. So you can forget getting with them in any way, shape, or form if you have those in real life.
I'm starting to wonder at the number of people who don't understand what being a lesbian is all about. Bi is one thing, lesbian a totally different thing.
Yes.
Oh yes. Yes!
...Yes?
...
Um. You have a VAST fantasy life, I can tell.

Either I get an "F" in writing ironically, or you two get an "F" in reading it... It's probably me, I get a lot of Fs.
{ grumbling to self.. The one damn time i don't use smileys...}

I got the irony. It was just too tempting to play yes, yes, yes, no.![]()
