I used to go out near there in the middle of the desert for target practice too.
A handgun...wonder what these men had. Do you think if they had been anything but middle eastern descent that the paper would have reported why type of weapon they were using? I just find the absence of that information interesting.

Cops responded, detained, and investigated all the men and their weapons thoroughly, enough to find that none of the men were wanted for anything and that all of their weapons were all legally borne and kept.
