I'd like to thank everyone for your responses. I cleaned up my writing a bit and sent my story to the artist that inspired me to do this. She seemingly enjoyed my story and that is all I desired. This has motivated learn more. I will submit my story here after I learn how and checking if it violates any rules. I love ohisashiburi and all her art.
