Cozy Cottage Thread! (newbies come in)

Hello! Welcome to the thread!
Not quite new to lit, as I've used another account until I forgot it, but branching away from the chat and into the forums so I'm a newbie myself!
I'm far too shy to bust into these other threads so.. I figured why not start my own. Especially since I'd feel very plain compared to those fancy avatars that we (maybe just me) can't seem to get.

I want this place to be a fun hangout where anyone can talk, newbie or not, and hopefully people can make some friends!

Some fun facts about me: My favorite food is meatloaf , favorite color pink, and I have 3 Manx cats- so no tails!
so come on in and let's talk and sip hot chocolate. (I'm Canadian so yes the weather is getting chilly for me already!)

Welcome back and a pleasure to meet. Canadian, eh? The weather is similar in here as well. Chilly with a pinch of touch of coming autumn.

I would love hot chocolate though, always feels good after some lunch. Thanks.

I have been reading the stories on here for years and am looking at getting back into writing.

It's pretty cool on the shore of the Great Lakes. How about something in that hot chocolate? Rye would be the obvious choice in Canada, but I think a little dark rum would go better.
