You've already said, many times, that your point with this thread was to 'show' the PG his two-facedness. That begs for the attention of his friends here to jump on your bandwagon and say you're right. Not gonna happen.

You won't get any understanding from me. Scent may think you're an ok guy, but anyone who starts a thread to slander another poster is at the bottom of the barrel by my estimation, whatever the purpose is or who it is.

So in response to query about Cowslinger..


He happened to be a really great guy. Yeah we butt heads and snipe at eachother but if I was to judge someone solely on their persona in Lit then I would have missed out on really good friendship.

So yeah he can be a douche, a dick, someone who "runs away". To all you everyone on this board.

But if I called him right now and said I need your help the guy would be out in the snow and on his way.

I am sure he is all of those things. We all have more facets than anyone knows. He can continue to be all of those things, He just doesn't get to have privacy for his trolling. That is the only difference.

Perhaps my intelligence is limited (most likely) and my understanding is sub par (a given).
I'm not sure if this was for Cowslinger to be involved in or for the rest of the regulars in PG to weigh in or at least read.

I also think this was an attention seeker...whether the attention was sought to the person, the issue or whatever else, I can't determine. But definitely was seeking attention in some respect.

I don't know or pretend to know either individuals. But I think this was unnecessary on both sides. It's also being perpetuated and driven by both sides.

Could both individuals just stop?

CLiff Notes. In response to my pointing out that cowslinger checks in on me each and every day first and last thing, he offered to settle our differences with violence and expects that I should meet him in oklahoma for this mature mano-a-mano extravaganza.

I countered with no...lets settle this on the playground like 5th graders.

To be fair, slinger hasn't posted here. He posts on the GB, and he and query go at it there often. Query started dragging it to the PG, and now he's ticked off that slinger either a. Told him to keep it off the playground or b. that slinger talks to a lot of women on both boards or c. That slinger won't post on his thread or d. That slinger is a bully or e. That slinger follows his posts on the GB Or f. Any or all or none of the above. Depending on what QB wants to rant about at any given time. Lose one argument, just start posting another.

It's dumb and it's been made clear many times to QB that this is not the place for his dispute with slinger. The PG is for fun, not fighting.

Our boy, C-sling must not have much imagination I think I was pretty clear about the lengths I would go if you continued his hobby.

I showed myself to be quite the petulant child not getting my way. Stomping my feet, rolling around on the floor, holding my breath. It was all quite frustrating.

Good to see him doing some self-reflection...I mean projection. First step is awareness, he is getting there.

I've given you little thought and little place in my existence, yet I seem to have consumed yours.

That explains why he went 2 pages deep in the thread he has been hiding in as the very first thing he did upon his arrival.

The short term attention of mine that he, has indeed, consumed is far cheaper in the long run for me than continuing to deal with his attention seeking antics on the daily.

I could have ignored him, sure. Could still do so. But his participation in the little, yapping pack of dogs at my heels emboldens them. This particular little doggie appears dissuadable, so I shall.
