I 've never seen any stories featuring cowboys, but always thought they were right up there with firemen as rugged romantic "rescuer" fantasy figures for the female audience. Am I right?

Personally, I don't have a thing for cowboys. You might want to check Pretty_Lil_Stranger's Cowboy Fantasy story out.

so, what sorta guy do you have a thing for?

I should post a pic of the squirrel's hair some time - it is the darkest brown you can get without being black, thick thick thick and oh my god it's like so silky and wonderful. plus it's a lot longer than mine. drool. when he was in italy he said he was thinking of cutting it and i was like "so if you cut it where are you gonna live when you come home?"

I love a man who can ride a horse...and who knows what to do with rope ;)

edited to add...I'm not sure that it would be so much a rescuer fantasy. Maybe a northeast girl visits a ranch in the southwest (maybe new mexico or something) and she gets really turned on by cowboys who work at the ranch. So she goes and seduces one of them...could be bondage, could be nonconsent (he sees a snotty northeast rich girl and wants to teach her a lesson), could go anywhere really.

sounds yummy. Is it a real ranch or a dude ranch? why is she there? ( visiting a college roomie for the holidays?). I agree the nonconsent angle is a nice variant from the rescue - " Black Bart" always did more for me than the Sunshine Kid.

Maybe her family dragged her there for the last family vaca before she leaves for college? And she hates it, which is causing her to be more uppity and bitchy than she'd be anyways.

so its a dude ranch, and he can despise her for her ineptness as well as her rudeness- why is she so uppity if she can't even saddle a pony?

thumbs way, way up for this one. Can I have it?

there any special lingo or something I should know for this kind of thing?

go for it doll!

work in a few horse terms. Maybe borrow a Zane Grey or Louis Lamour for the lingo.

oh, I think that's the only workable POV, except external observer, which I like less ( I always prefer first person).

well i thought that the obvious choice would be the cowboy...

his story is all rage, one emotion...in her POV, you can play with a variety- curiosity, fear, despair, reluctant excitement, true bliss, rapture, animal lust....
